Hello, my name is Pam, southern by birth, but happily living in the desert now with my husband and three Shelties. My love for old things grew a few years ago when my husband decided to let me sell his childhood toy, an almost mint 1960's 007 James Bond Attache' Case. My friend who was already listing on eBay offered to list it for me. It had already been verbally appraised for $300 - $500. It sold at auction on eBay for just over $500. I was hooked at that point and I started listing with my friend's ID.
Soon it was time to branch off and I became desertbabydoll. Now the love for old things just keeps me right on listing. The research that goes into selling antiques and collectibles is just as much fun as finding and listing them. Extensive research goes into every detail of my listings and prices. Shipping costs are not inflated and I keep a sharp eye on what others are charging.
