What
is a Silkie?
A silkie or playsilk can be anything your child imagines it
to be. It can be fairy wings, a wizard cape, or the covering
for a secret hideaway. My daughter uses her ‘Gilkie’(that’s
2-year old for Silkie) as a blankie for herself and a cape for
our dog, Lucy. Sometimes she also likes to pretend she has long
purple hair!
In
addition to the selection of play silks, we also have silk dress-up
clothes.
You'll
always find Rainbow Capes and Fairy Skirts, but check back when
you can so you don't miss out on the uniquely dyed offerings of
other capes and fairy skirts.
