From gokarts to motorcycles to sports cars I have been around them all for most of my adult life.  Starting out as a gopher for local racers and ending up as Manager of Portland International Raceway for most of 30 years I have seen it all and loved it.  Photography has been a parallel subject with the racing.  My photography has been in books and close to three dozen automobile magazines from around the world.  During the 80s my automotive photography was represented in a dozen galleries across the country.

Now is semi-retirement I still shoot cars for magazines and commercial clients and travel to find the very best in original period racing photography.   When I am not traveling to purchase photos or to racing events to sell photos I can be found cleaning and matting photos in preparation for the next event.  I do wedge in a fly fishing trip five or six times a year to chase the wily trout.

I volunteer as a member of the Board of Directors of the Photography Council at the Portland Art Museum and as a voting member of the selection committee of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in Novi, Michigan.
