WHY BUY FROM ME?


I ONLY SELL GENUINE PRODUCT: I've been playing PC games since 1983, and I know what counterfeits look like. You won't ever get fake product from me, accidentally or on purpose. And if you've been sold a counterfeit and need help getting your money back, feel free to contact me; I do those appraisals Paypal requires and know a few other tricks for getting a pirate to refund you.

I GRADE CONSERVATIVELY: if I had a nickel for every time I was sold a "new" game that was opened and used, or a "like new" CD that looked like someone shined it with a brillo pad, well... I'd have a lot of nickels.

I SHIP RESPONSIBLY: if I had a dime for every time I was sold a "new, mint in box game" that was then shipped to me wrapped in brown paper - SQUISH! - I'd have a lot of dimes.

I KNOW XP / VISTA / WINDOWS 7 COMPATIBILITY: I have a powerful memory, and remember when a game has XP, Vista, or Windows 7 compatibility issues. If it can be fixed, I ship the game with the fix. If it cannot be fixed, I either do not sell that game, or clearly list the problem in the description.

I KNOW MACS AND MAC COMPATIBILITY: I have several Macs in-house, from a 512k Mac through OS 8.5, OSX Jaguar, Panther, Tiger (on a PowerPC) and Leopard & Snow Leopard (on Intel Macs). If a game can be made to work on a Mac, I know how to do it.

I KNOW DOS: And I'm very familiar with getting DOS games running in Windows XP / Vista / 7, and on Macs. I can get almost any DOS game working on a modern computer.

I PROVIDE TECH SUPPORT: I believe if you can't support what you sell, you're just selling pretty coasters and should not be selling vintage games, period. Everything I sell comes with free email tech support.
