Can I track my order online?

Every order we ship can be tracked online at the carrier website.  We send you the method of shipment and tracking information by email with instructions on how to track you package.  We also provide you with a link to your order page where payment, shipping and tracking information can be reviewed.  Please note that items shipped by US Post Office do not technically have item tracking.  Postal Delivery Confirmation will often not show the movement of the package but will verify delivery, giving you the date, time and zip code the article was delivered.  Please visit http://www.usps.com/shipping/deliveryconfirm.htm for more information.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to modify or cancel your order before it ships.  If you need to make any changes to your order please email us at sales@discountaudiowarehouse.com and we will make every effort to change your order.  If you order has already shipped, please email us for a return authorization and we will be happy to help you return your order for a full refund.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:

Credit Cards
We accept all credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed.

Debit Cards
We also accept some debit cards.  Not all banks or financial institutions support debit card Address Verification.  This is a security check that is performed by our credit card company where the address and zip code entered at checkout are compared to the billing address on file at your financial institution.  If you institution does not support this service for debit cards, the transaction will be declined.  Please check with your financial institution before attempting to use a debit card to make sure it supports Address Verification.

Paypal and Google Checkout
We are pleased to accept Paypal and Google Checkout.  We must ship to the address specified by on the Paypal or Google payment page.

International Payments:
We only accept Paypal for international payments.  We are currently unable to accept international credit cards or bank transfers.

Can I ship to an address other than my billing address?

In order to ship to an address other than your billing address, you must add that address as a memo on your credit card.  You do that by calling your credit card company and asking to add the address as a memo.  We will then verify that information with your credit card company before shipping your order.  This is for your security and prevents anyone from using your stolen credit card on our website.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Sales tax is not charged on orders that are shipping to an address outside of the State of New Jersey. Shipments to New Jersey are charged sales tax of 7%.

What shipping methods do you use?

Most of our products qualify for FREE flat rate standard shipping in the continental USA. We ship using the following methods:

Standard Shipping usually arrive within 3-6 business days.  Examples are Ground shipping, US Postal First Class and Parcel Post.
Expedited Shipping usually arrive in 2-3 business days.  Examples are US Priority Mail, 2nd Day Air and 3Day Select shipping.
Overnight Shipping usually arrive in 1 business day.

Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and other US territories do not qualify for free flat rate shipping.


Shipping Notes:
Business days are Monday to Friday and do not include holidays.
Shipping methods do not include order processing times.  Please see "How quickly will my order ship?" below for more information on order processing times.
In order to best serve you, we reserve the right to substitute similar shipping methods and carriers.
Some items require a signature.  This will help secure your order and cannot be waived.

How long does it take to ship my order?

An order processing time exists for every item that we sell. The handling time is the time needed to select and package your item for pick up by the carrier (i.e. USPS or Fedex). A long order processing  time generally indicates the item will need to be special ordered prior to delivery. The handling for an item often varies from product to product. For the most up to date information about how quickly an item can be shipped to you, check the product page that displays the product image, price and detailed description. Next to the image you will see an estimated order processing  time required for the item.

Total delivery time is equal to order processing  time plus time for the chosen shipping method. Shipping times vary according to the desired shipping method. For example, an item with an order processing time of 1-2 days shipped by Standard Shipping will arrive in 4-8 days: 1-2 days for order processing plus 3-6 days for standard shipping.

We ship to Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia using US Postal Priority Mail and Fedex International Express.  We reserve the right to use the shipping method we feel would minimize customs and duty charges to the buyer.  If you would like us to ship by a specific shipping method, please include a note with your payment and we will contact you by email.

US Priority Mail International.  US Priority Mail usually takes 10-14 business days to arrive in Europe and slightly more to Asia.  While it is slower than Fedex, we use it to ship to countries in Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe where there are large customs charges for using a private courier like Fedex.  Please note that US Priority Mail offers a Delivery Confirmation service, not package tracking.  This means that many times, there is no tracking while the item is in transit but only after the item is delivered.

Fedex International.  Fedex International shipments usually take about 5-6 business days to arrive.  We use Fedex for almost all smaller packages and to countries where there are no extra charges levied for using a private courier, such as Canada, Australia, and Western Europe.

Duties and Taxes.  We make every effort to reduce or eliminate customs and duty charges to our customers.  Please note that duty charges are out of our control and are strictly the buyer's responsibility.

Returns and Warranty.  Most manufacturer's will honor the product's warranty for international customers.  We also sell extended warranties for many products that are valid overseas.  In the case of any product where the manufacturer will not honor the warranty, we will extend our return period to 6 Months for defective items.  You will have 6 months to return the product to us for an exchange.  All returns must be returned with shipping PREPAID and product replacements will be sent with no shipping expense to the customer.

What happens if my item is not available?
If an item is out of stock or discontinued, the product page that displays the product image and price will state that the item is out of stock.  All other items should be considered in stock.  This information listed on our online catalog is the most up to date information that we have in regards to an item's in-stock availability.

Due to the large selection of products that we carry it is impossible to guarantee 100% availability of all the merchandise that we sell. If an item that you've ordered is out of stock or backordered you will be notified by email promptly.  You will have the option of requesting a refund or receiving the item when it comes in stock.

All non-defective returns will be assessed a 10% restocking fee within 30 days of purchase and will only be accepted in resalable condition with all original packaging.  Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Defective items can be returned to us within 30 days.  After 30 days, defective product must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, some items cannot be returned at all.  Some examples are flat panel and projection TV's, color copiers, printers, copy machines, and toner cartridges.  These items will require service under the manufacturer's warranty.  Please contact the manufacturer for troubleshooting and repair service.

How will I get my refund or credit?
We will issue your refund or credit to the original payment method used when the order was created.  Credits are usually issued within 5 days of receiving the return and can sometimes take an additional 2-3 days to be processed by your financial institution.  If you do not see the credit within 7-8 days, please email us at sales@discountaudiowarehouse.com and we can confirm that your credit was issued and provide you with a transaction ID.
