To cancel your bid AFTER the auction/Buy It Now has ended you will need to contact Discount Tommy. Since eBay charges Discount Tommy fees for every item we list, we must contact eBay for reimbursement of those fees when an item is not paid for. The eBay "unpaid item" notification can negatively impact your account with eBay so we do allow customers to reimburse us directly for our listing fees (approximately $5 per item), in which case we will NOT contact eBay.

I don't see a Buy It Now option, how do I purchase the item?
Once 1 customer places a bid on an item eBay will remove the Buy It Now option for all customers. So if you see a product you really want and the Buy It Now option is still available, be sure to act quickly!

If an item didn't sell at auction, how do I purchase it?
Discount Tommy lists thousands of products a week on eBay. When a product does not sell it is usually relisted within a few days. For your convenience you can easily find products using the search form on our item listings or the Discount Tommy eBay Store.

 

How do I pay for my eBay purchases?
If you are the winning bidder on an auction or have purchased an item with Buy It Now, please click on the Checkout button located on the banner in the item description to complete Discount Tommy's checkout. During checkout you can securely pay for your purchase.

How long do I have to pay for my eBay purchases?
We kindly request that payment be made within 7 days of auction end/Buy It Now date. If you are bidding on multiple auctions to save on combined shipping, the auctions must end within 5 days of each other or they should be checked-out separately.

Why does PayPal say "Seller does not accept instant payments"?
PayPal helps large sellers, like Discount Tommy, carefully match payments to orders to enusre that all payments are properly processed. This allows Discount Tommy to confirm your payment and ship your order quickly. As a result you must complete our checkout before sending a PayPal payment.

Can I send you a PayPal payment without using your checkout?
No, it will delay your order. Discount Tommy checkout only takes a few minutes and allows you to:

What is the total amount I owe for my eBay purchases?

Domestic/USA customers do not pay sales tax unless they reside in the state of Michigan. Auction item shipping and handling rates are displayed on each item listing.

Yes! We are please to offer combined / discounted rates for multiple item purchases.  Discounts are 40% for the U.S. and 20% for International/Canada.  Discounts are calculated as follows:

Has my order been shipped?
Once you have completed checkout, you may check your Discount Tommy Online real-time information on the status of your order. Discount Tommy also sends you an email with tracking information when your order is shipped.

What countries do you ship to?
We ship Worldwide! Please see below for details. Shipping rates are posted with each item listing.

Domestic (USA) orders are shipped via UPS Ground. Pickup from our warehouse is  permitted with advance notice.. We do not ship to Domestic PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

Canadian orders are shipped via UPS Standard (Ground) with tracking and insurance. We take care of all of the paperwork and pay all the taxes and brokerage fees (GST, Canadian import duties and brokerage). Please note that we cannot ship to Canadian PO boxes.

How do I complete my purchase?

Why isn't my item ready for checkout?
Once an auction ends or an item is purchased with Buy It Now, our systems need to collect the customer information from eBay. This process can take up to a few hours during which time the item will not be ready for checkout. Once the item IS ready for checkout, we will email the buyer with a custom link to our quick and secure checkout.

I forgot my password! How do I get it?
If you are a returning Discount Tommy customer you may have created a password during our secure checkout. If you can't remember your password, we'll be happy to send it to you.

Can I use a coupon with my order?

Why does your checkout say my email address is not correct?
When an item is purchased on eBay, the user ID of the buyer/winner is recorded by eBay. Discount Tommy is then contacted by eBay with the details on the transaction, including the buyer's email address. For security purposes Discount Tommy requires the buyer to enter the winning buyer's email address during checkout. If the email address entered does not match the email address on file with eBay, then you will not be able to complete your purchase.

Can you mark my international shipment as a gift?
No. We wish we could BUT by law we are required to ship all our packages as commercial shipments. We prefer UPS for our Canadian and International shipments because all shipments include tracking and insurance.

Who pays for duties and customs fees?

Canada: We are pleased to be one of the few sellers registered with Canada as a Non-Resident Importer (NRI). We take care of all of the paperwork and pay all the taxes and brokerage fees (GST, Canadian import duties and brokerage).

International orders other than Canada are subject to duties, taxes and fees as determined by their local government.

Shipments to all other countries are subject to local duties, taxes and fees. Since each country is different, Discount Tommy is not able to assist in collecting those duties and all duties, taxes and fees must be paid by the customer upon delivery (COD) of the package. Fortunately NO BROKERAGE FEES are due since we ship with UPS Express.

Please note that customers are responsible for observing all customs rules when making purchases - many countries restrict footwear based on the material, especially for exotic skins like alligator or snake. Discount Tommy is not responsible for items held by customs.
