Devin Miller

I am a photojournalist and disc jockey in Southern Illinois. I have been published in a variety of national and regional newspapers and magazines. I have a radio show, Original Roots, on WSIU in Carbondale, Illinois. Right now I am trying to raise awareness, particularly in the Midwest, for Hurricane Katrina relief. It seems in our part of the country people are not totally aware of the devastation that has taken place down in New Orleans and Mississippi. Both areas hold a special place in my heart as it is where much of the music I love originated from. The friendly and giving people and rich culture need the opportunity to return to the many gulf cities and towns that have been obliterated by Hurricane Katrina. America wouldn't be America without New Orleans!
