My wife and I started our eBay experience several years ago by buying things that we could not find locally.  Last year on 23 June 2007 we decided to try our hand selling so we formed an LLC and Her Store and His Store were born.  We quickly saw that Her Store was better than His Store due to her ability to multitask so much better than him.   Step mom at home with a caregiver, owner of a home healthcare business, home maker and six pets. Her Store has jewelry, clothes, watches, curios, shoes, toys etc. and His Store had tools.  We discovered Webkinz online and she added them to Her Store and His Store now has them too.  She learned to go with the trend and I have learned to just do as she does and things work.  We both have added many things to our stores and are learning every day.  With eBay’s Outreach program we are learning how to improve upon our efforts and continue to prosper.

     We have just about every Webkinz and Lil Kinz animal in stock and most of their accessories, still have some tools, trying Compact fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, and DVD movies.  We have shipping tape, ink pens, and LED windup flashlights as well as Magic Scarf line, greeting cards, and nurse garden shoes.  The holiday season last year was very good for us and we are preparing again for this year’s season.  Her calendars and planners worked very well and scented candles did also.

     The available information is almost to much to keep up with. Since we get many things delivered right to our door that reduces our need for driving to the store so we are conserving petroleum which reduces our carbon footprint.  Changing all our incandescent light bulbs for compact fluorescent lamps has further reduced our energy consumption and with new appliances our total power usage has dropped in half.  With the new high efficiency washer our water usage has dropped in half also.  So our theme seems to be conservation this year and with all the talk of financial bailouts and an election year combined it certainly has been interesting and we look forward to the future for whatever changes it brings.
