I've been buying and selling on ebay for about 5 years.
I started out collecting cast iron banks, but found they were awfully expensive to acquire and ship. Next, I moved on to slot machine and 3 coin register banks. And, then I discovered the wonderful world of VIEW-MASTERS... here's a hobby I could live with... they don't take up much space, provide endless hours of amusement, and come in a myriad of colors, shapes and sizes.
In the course of collecting thousands of slides, viewers, projectors, and related material, I've acquired alot of duplicate materials, and am selling to acquire more material. I'll buy an item because I want one of the slides to add to my collection, and then have to sell off the rest. Hopefully, to add to someone else's collection.
Other interests include music(I play guitar), bowling, and looking around the house to see what's going up for auction next (I'm somewhat of a packrat -- so you never know what you'll see on ebay from me.
I always try to pack items very carefully(i've received a couple of broken items in my time), so they arrive in one piece and try to ship within 24-48 hours of receiving payment (unless of course the post office isn't open during that time period).

As a buyer, I like to pay via paypal, and do it rather promptly.
