in the last three years. The company is one of the leading players
in the diamond industry and is annual turnover of about US$130mn.

Jewelry diamonds.
Dynasty Jewelry is a global leader
in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fine diamonds and
jewelry a dynamic corporation built on expertise and integrity.
We are passionate about excellence and about our business. Outstanding
service and added value for all our customers are Dynasty Jewelry's
ultimate goals. Our dedication to our customers and insight into
their luxury has earned us the reputation of being one of the most
respected and trusted players in the diamond and jewelry industry.
Each piece in our fabulous collection is designed and made with
quality and style in mind. Dynasty Jewelry's team of experts has
created a collection dedicated to bringing you jewelry that best
expresses you.
We assured you that the jewelry
we are selling is priced at least 50-70% less then what you will
pay at a jewelry store. Jewelry stores have high overheads and hence
high markups. Pieces that typically sell for $1000 at a jewelry
store can be purchased from us for $250 to $500. On no reserve auctions
many times you can get a piece of jewelry below our manufacturing
cost. The advantage we have is that we are selling directly to you
and we do not have high overheads.
In summary you can get deals from
us, but your expectations have to be reasonable. Some customers
want to spend $500 for a 1.00 carat diamond and expect it to be
eye clean and clear. This is simply not possible, we cannot give
you a $5000 diamond for $500. Our advice to you before buying any
item from us is to do some homework by visiting your local jewelry
stores, and this way you know what to expect and will not be disappointed.
All Diamonds we sell are mined throughout
the world, including major mines in Australia, Africa, Russia and
Canada. Dynasty Jewelry continue to do its part to ensure the Diamonds
we sell are certified from legitimate sources not involved in funding
conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Dynasty
Jewelry supports the Kimberley Process, which tracks diamonds from
mine to market to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds. Our diamonds,
and diamond jewelry appraised from EGL
[European Gemological Laboratories] & GIA
[Gemological Institute of America] - THEY ARE THE TWO MOST REPUTED
GEMOLOGICAL LABORATORIES IN THE WORLD TODAY. Even our in-house grading
is done by GIA graduate professionals using standard tools such
as master color stones and high power microscope. Diamond grading
is not an exact science. Human judgment plays an important role
in grading a diamond. To complicate matters further, no two diamonds
are alike. They may have the same type of flaws but differ widely
in how they appear to a naked eye. Hence, diamond grading is an
opinion. Even the two most recognized gemological laboratory in
the world GIA and EGL have a difference of opinion. Considering
these factors there will always be a 1-2 grade opinion difference.
The most important factor to consider is the honesty of a jewelry
store. If you take a piece of jewelry from us and show it to a jewelry
store, there is always a chance that the jeweler will be bias because
they are interested in selling their own jewelry. 90% of jewelry
stores have salespeople selling jewelry who do not know anything
about diamonds and their sole interest is to sell you their piece
and will say anything to downgrade a piece bought from someone else.

How to purchase a Diamond?......
When purchasing diamonds it is always a good idea
to be educated about your purchase. The Gemological Institute of
America (GIA) grades diamonds according to the four Cs: cut, color,
clarity and carat weight. The interplay of the four Cs determines
a diamond's value. A diamond's value rises as its size, or carat
weight increases likewise the value will increase or decrease dependent
upon the color, clarity and cut. A diamond is the oldest item that
anyone can own - it's three billion years in age, a strategic and
high tech super material for our technological society that is formed
in the earth's interior and shot to the surface by extraordinary
volcanoes. It is carbon in its most concentrated form, composed
solely of carbon -- the chemical element fundamental to all life,
thus it is a native element. It is also extremely pure, containing
only trace amounts of boron and nitrogen. The diamond's close cousins
are mineral graphite and amorphous carbon.
Diamond pricing is based on what is commonly
known as: THE 4 C's OF A DIAMOND:
A carat is the unit of measurement which the jewelry
industry uses to weigh diamonds. One carat is equal to .20 grams.
Often diamond weight is declared in points. One carat is equal to
100 points. Thus, a .75 carat diamond is equivalent to 75 points.
Do not buy into the belief that the larger the carat
weight, the more valuable the diamond. While this can be true, it
is not necessarily so. Keep in mind that retail and wholesale diamond
dealers take into account a stone's color, clarity, and cut, as
well as carat weight when pricing a diamond and often their pricing
is subjective. For that reason, it is important for every potential
diamond buyer to prioritize each of the aforementioned characteristics
when considering a stone. Remember that choosing a diamond is not
an exact science.

What makes diamonds stand out beyond any other precious
gemstone is their fire and brilliance. While nature determines the
color and clarity of a stone, diamond cut is dependent solely upon
the skill of the cutter.
The cut of a diamond is what determines how the
light that enters the diamond is reflected and therefore how much
fire and brilliance the diamond will exude. A diamond that is cut
too shallow with respect to its width will allow too much light
to pass straight through the diamond, leaving little light to reflect.
Such a diamond will appear dull and lacking in brilliance. Conversely,
a diamond cut too deeply will allow light to escape from the sides
of the diamond, also appearing dull.
 |
Diameter: The width of
the diamond as measured through the girdle.
Table: The flat top and
largest facet of a gemstone.
Crown: The top portion
of a diamond extending from the girdle to the table.
Girdle: The narrow band
around the widest part of a diamond.
Pavilion: The bottom portion
of a diamond, extending from the girdle to the point of
the stone.
Culet: The facet at the
tip of a gemstone. The preferred culet is not visible with
the unaided eye (graded "medium" or "none")
Depth: The height of a
gemstone measured from the culet to the table. |
 |
 |
 |
| A) Light is lost out the
bottom causing the diamond to lose brilliance. |
B) Reflects nearly all light
that enters the diamond. An exquisite and rare cut. |
C) Light escapes out the
sides causing the diamond to appear dark and dull. |
When buying a diamond, take into consideration that
it is often very difficult to detect the difference between a colorless
diamond (D-F) and a near colorless diamond (G-H), especially when
it is mounted in jewelry. Diamonds with a J-Z color grade usually
have yellow shading that can be detected by the naked eye, however,
a well cut stone with good proportions will still release the brilliance
and fire of a lower colored diamond, dispersing light in such a
way so as to create a beautiful stone.
Color is personal: some people like a diamond with
an ice-cold whiteness (colorless or near-colorless), while others
prefer the golden glow of a warmer color. Diamonds with no color
like D, E, F, are very rare and are more expensive than near-colorless
(G, H, I, J) diamonds.
Diamonds with a faint tinge of color (K, L, M, N, O) have a slightly
warm color and are more affordable. For those who want a larger
diamond within a certain budget, selecting diamonds with a lower
color grade may be the best option.
Less color is generally preferred but "fancy" is rare. Some of the
highest prices paid per carat are for colored diamonds.
Fancy colors include brilliant yellows, steely blues, soft pinks,
fiery oranges and more; there's even fancy white and black. If the
color is natural, as opposed to treated, the prices of these fancies
can be extremely high.

FL Flawless: No internal flaws.
Very rare and very expensive.
IF Internally Flawless: No internal
flaws. Also very rare and very expensive.
VVS1-VVS2 Very, Very Slightly Included:
Extremely difficult to see inclusions under 10x magnification. Rare
and expensive.
VS1-VS2 Very Slightly Included:
Inclusions are not visible to the unaided eye. High quality.
SI1-SI2-SI3 Slightly Included:
Inclusions are visible under 10x magnification. Good quality.
I1-I2-I3 Included: Inclusions and
flaws visible to the naked eye.
