Since I primarily use the United States Postal Service for all my shipping services, here is some IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding their services:
1. Did you know that the United States Postal Service does not consider mail lost until 14 days after it ships. Less than 1 in 500 packages takes that long to be delivered but it does occasionally happen. Therefore, if there seems to be a delay in receiving your package, please note we will assist you in any way we can, but we cannot reship new items until this time period has elapsed as we cannot file your insurance claim until then.
2. United States Postal Service Priority Mail typically takes 2-3 business days to arrive to its final destination. This does not mean all packages will be delivered in that time period, but the majority will. First Class Mail typically takes 2-5 business days and Parcel Post may take 2-9 days as an estitmate. None of these methods are ever guaranteed to arrive by a certain day. If you chose to pay for insurance, then a tracking number will be supplied to you via email.
3. We ask that you please not e-mail us to track your item until 7 business days from shipment to allow the postal service time to correct any errors they may have made during the shipment. After this time period we can trace the package manually and/or electronically to locate its wherabouts.
4. Finally, please note that tracking may state "The US Postal service has been notified by shipper or shipping partner to expect package for delivery." This means that the package was shipped. The USPS does not have an initial scan like other carriers do. Please do not email us if your package has this message because the item was shipped.

JURY DUTY SCAM... Look at what I just received in my email from Joe Robson (it comes from a weekly newsletter of I-Cop Director J.L.Scott):
Most of us take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but
enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and
ominous kind of scam has surfaced. Fall for it and your
identity could be stolen.
In this con, someone calls pretending to be a court official
who threateningly says a warrant has been issued for your
arrest because you didn't show up for jury duty. The caller
claims to be a jury coordinator.
If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty,
the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date
of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the
arrest warrant. Sometimes they even ask for credit card
numbers. Give out any of this information and BINGO!
Your identity has just been stolen!
The scam has been reported (so far) in 11 states. This one is
particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the
phone to try to bully people into giving information by
pretending they're with the court system.
The FBI and the Federal court system have issued nationwide
alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.
Checked on Snopes.com ... yes, it's real.
