From time to time I may have items that I no longer need and eBay is an excellent avenue to sell my unneeded items. Whenever I have anything for sale on eBay a brief description of the items for sale is posted at the Edward Ringwald Surplus Corner page on my website along with links to eBay for the duration of the listing.

Information you need to know of before you place a bid

If in the event you are the successful winning bidder on any item I sell on eBay here are some items you need to be aware of (these items will be specifically mentioned in the individual listing):

Payment: Payment for any item I sell on eBay must be made through PayPal only. Please be aware of this before placing a bid!! If you need to set up a PayPal account please go to the PayPal website to set an account up. You must be a PayPal member in order to place a bid on any item I have for sale on eBay.

Shipping and Handling: The method of shipping will be listed in the individual item listing. Items are shipped either via FedEx or the United States Postal Service's Priority Mail Service via traceable methods. The price for shipping and handling will be stated in the item description and must be added to the final bid total at the end of the auction. If in the event I have multiple items listed on eBay and you are the winning bidder on two or more items you will pay only one shipping and handling charge.

There will be no shipping charges for DVDs, CDs and books sold here at the Edward Ringwald Surplus Corner on eBay. That's right, no shipping charges for DVDs, CDs and books. That's a great deal!

If the method for shipping on an item I have on eBay requires shipment via FedEx and if your address of record on eBay is that of a post office box, you can still place a bid. If in the event you are the winning bidder on a particular item and your address of record is a post office box, I will ask for a street address for FedEx purposes so that your item can be shipped. I will respect your privacy in this regard.

International Shipping: From time to time items I sell on eBay will be available for shipping internationally either to Canada, Canada and Mexico, or Canada, Mexico and Europe. When international shipping on an item is available specifics such as where the item can be shipped to will be listed in the individual item description.

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties and taxes that may be imposed by the customs authorities of your country. Customs forms are filled out truthfully and under no circumstances will I check the gift box on a customs declaration form.

I will expect payment for the item you win from me on eBay within seven (7) days of the close of the auction. Once I receive payment your item will be on its way. Positive eBay feedback given for complete transaction follow-through including on time payment! On the other hand, failure to follow through on a transaction involving an item I have for sale on eBay may result in notification to eBay of a non-paying bidder alert which may result in an unpaid item strike being given at the discretion of eBay. According to eBay rules and regulations the accumulation of three unpaid item strikes may result in account suspension at eBay discretion. Just to let you know!
