While you're here, I hope you will take a look at my current auctions and browse through my store. There might be something there just for you!
While glass is our first love, we sell a variety of items on eBay, including fishing tackle, and we hope you will make us one of your "Favorites". We strive to conduct our eBay business in a courteous and professional, yet personal manner.
Bud and I love animals of all kinds, but we are partial to the canine variety. In 2007, we lost our beloved Buddy, who had shared our lives and entertained us for over 7 years. He had been diagnosed in 2004 with cancer, but had seemed perfectly normal until about 3 weeks before he died. We kept hoping he had been misdiagnosed, but it wasn't to be. He loved this old blue chair and for years he slept in it while I was on the computer working on eBay stuff. We tried to replace the chair with a new one, but he would have no part of it. He would just look at the new one give it a sniff, then turn around and walk away. We brought back old blue and he once again happily slept there.

While still grieving for Buddy, we went to the shelter and adopted Joey, an adorable Terrier mix who is about 2 years old. He completely stole our hearts and I'm sure Buddy was wagging his tail in total agreement with our having another furry child on whom to shower our love. Unfortunately, we had to find a new home for Joey in 2007. He began to be too rough with little Scooter and hurt him a couple of times. He also must have felt insecure with us having a another doggie with us because he began to have "accidents" in the house again after we thought he was well past that. In addition, because of the declining health of Bud, we decided to move from St. Joseph, Missouri to Durant, Oklahoma to be near our only child, Cindi, and her family. The house we bought cannot have a fenced yard and I knew I would not be able to walk Joey to take care of his business or give him the exercise he needed. A family in Kansas City adopted him and he will have a very loving family and a good home for the rest of his life. Giving him up was very hard for Bud and me and we still miss him. I just hope he understands why we had to do it. I think he did as he went willingly with his new guardians without even a backward glance at me.
Joey really helped me when I had yard work do to. Just look what a good job he did helping me haul away limbs after I had pruned bushes and small trees.

Scooter, the newest addition to our family, is a little MinPin (Miniature Pincher) born 2/17/07. When he came to live with us on April 1, 2007, he weighed 1 lb. 3 oz. He now weighs 10 1/2 lbs. What a precious, precious little fellow he is. We are totally smitten with him and just looking at his little face always makes us smile and lightens any mental load we might be carrying at that time. Of course, we have loved all our babies, but Scooter really is precious and special and the most entertaining doggie you can imagine.
These pictures were taken before Joey began to get rough with Scooter. They played together so well when Scooter was a baby and they were so cute together that I just had to post them.
