We are the promoters of Woz Wannabe, the now officially proclaimed, 1st eBay Celebrity Mascot! Our thanks go to SamTheManAuctions for this honor! Woz Wannabe is the mascot for our place, which is called WozZoo@WannabeRanch, where we raise and train adorable little UK Shetlands for kids with special needs, in support of Personal Ponies Ltd. (PPL).
I designed Woz almost 20 years ago, along with about 15 other characters, with the goal of using them to generate funds for kids projects. LONG before those bear building places came along and the bill from that patent attorney is STILL painful to look at. LOL After many false starts in the marketing arena and not much time to devote to the project, Woz got stuffed (no pun intended) into a storage unit, until now.
Recently, out of the blue, Woz started screaming at me to get him out of the closet and into fresh air. Do you have ANY idea how painful it is to hear a stuffed critter SCREAMING at the top of their lungs?! It freaking HURTS! So I drug the little sucker out, dressed him in one of his many spiffy outfits, and he is ready to be a "Spokes Critter" for the sake of the ponies, the kids and PPL.
He, like our ponies, lives to serve. Frankly I'd forgotten how cute he is in a perplexed pathetic, sort of way. I guess he just didn't like living in a storage unit, nekkid, with several hundred clones of himself. Little goof ball is starting to have ego problems I think.
So now that Woz is out of the closet and on the eBay bandwagon in support of PPL, we will document his adventures for you as he strives to generate both funding for PPL and a new life for himself.

Since starting as an eBay seller at Christmas time 2005 I have had the privilege of connecting with so many wonderful people on eBay and I have typed so fast and so furiously on my ole granny fingers, in reply to the tons of email, that I swore, at times, my fingers were bleeding. I've dubbed this new condition ......... eBay Stigmata.
I'm pretty sure it could become a medically recognized condition, thereby covered by insurance. It far exceeds carpal tunnel, in that it's more of a spiritual experience.
But the brace you would wear is nicer too ... more of a cross in shape. Hey, we could even start a twelve step program for eBay Stigmata sufferers-!!
Dang, there goes that digressing thing again, sorry .......... lol.
I want to thank our huge nationwide PPL family for being such a great support system during this new experiment. We truly ARE writing the book for PPL as we live it.
And I want to thank all of the eBay awesome people, that I came across in the process, that helped too. Each and every one were, supportive, helpful, interesting, and a joy to experience. They took the time to help a total newby into the fold and extend their hand. We have far more PPL folks in our group than even WE realize.
