I offer plants that are relatively easy to grow and flower under YOUR conditions.  Being in the center of the Orchid State, Hawaii, I'm able to offer the finest that this Orchid paradise can offer.  I stock a wide assortment of goodies from huge exhibition Cattleyas to elegant Phalaenopsis thru stately Paphiopedilums and dainty Equitant Oncidiums.  My offerings reflect my personal tastes and I offer what I'm personally interested in.

I've been growing Orchids for 20 years, starting with caring for my Grandparents plants before starting my own collection.  My primary interest has shifted from Dendrobiums to Cattleyas and now Phalaenopsis and Paphiopedilums.  Presently, I'm interested in red and multiflora Phals, intersectional Parvi-multiflora, flame, and mastersianum hybrid Paphs.   I also LOVE splashed petal minicatts!!!

This venture has enabled me to combine my various professional lives.  I started out in retail management and after eleven years, began working in a commercial Orchid lab.  After two years there, I began working with Orchids at the local botancial garden where I'm still employed full-time.  In my spare time, I do... what else?  I grow Orchids.  I've also served on a local Orchid Society's Board of Directors.  I served as the Show Commitee Co-Chair for two years, chairing two shows and overseeing the construction of twelve exhibits.  I've been blessed to oversee the building of two exhibits that have won American Orchid Society's Bronze Show Trophy for the Most Outstanding Display in the Show.  I currently serve the Orchid community by giving numerous talks and evaluating Orchid flowers and displays. 

Most recently, I've been able to travel to Orlando, Florida for the Central Florida Orchid Society's Show, "Orchid Magic".  It was indeed magical and I was able to find more goodies for you all.  This is a great group of orchidists and if you have a chance to visit with them, do so!!!
