Hi,
I've been selling on eBay for over 10 years now, mostly paper goods like Celebrity magazines and ad's. The past few years I've been selling used car parts that are easy to take off car, pack and ship. I usually ship out items within 24 hours of receiving payment.
I've been collecting Cadillac Memorabilia and Smiley Face items for over 20 years and probably have thousands of items. Lately I've also been collecting Hooters restaurant items.
When I'm not eBaying I like to go to the Beach, Bicycling, sleding, malls, car shows.
As far as my Negative feedback, most were left by non paying bidders in retaliation for me leaving them negative, sometimes they would just leave negative after sending them a payment reminder. The others are from people who were too quick to leave negative before I could work something out if their was a problem with an item.
Shipping prices aren't an exact science, sometimes I end up shipping something in a different box than what I weighted it in, sometimes I have to track down boxes or even buy them, plus tape, bubble wrap, etc. Then you have the people who refuse to buy insurance but still demand a complete refund if their item arrives damaged. Then the USPS changed the way they calculate postage on packages, they go by the weight as well as the dimensions, I have too many things listed to go through and edit them 1 by 1. On my older listings I just have the weight in postal calculator, so now say I'm sending a 5 pound box to the other side of the country that measures 20" x 12" x 8" I'd have to pay the price as if it was a 20 pound box. Plus I have hundreds of magazines that still have the old shipping and Insurance cost listed and the price has gone up a few times since them but I still honer what ever price is listed or what the shipping calculater shows.
