PAYMENT INFORMATION

We must receive payment within 3 days. If you cannot make arrangements for payment to reach us within 3 days, then please do not bid. If we do not hear from you within 3 days of auction ending, we will assume you no longer want the piece and the item will be automatically relisted without notification and the transaction is void. If these terms are not met, we reserve the right to resell the item without notification. We accept Paypal for online electronic payments and we also accept Visa and Mastercard via our own secure server at www.esagefinejewelry.com. All Paypal payments must include a confirmed address, and we will ship to that address only. Paypal payments with an unconfirmed address will not be accepted. All echeck paypal payments must clear before we ship the package. This can take up to 2 weeks. Layaway plans are available for items over $1,500.00, email us for more information.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS INFORMATION

Please check with your local customs authorities regarding any duties or taxes you will be charged for accepting an international shipment. These fees are the full responsibility of the buyer. If you have a question about duties or taxes, please contact your local customs authorities to find out what the amount will be. All International shipments will be made via USPS Global Express Mail. No other shipping options are available for international shipments. The actual USPS Express Mail shipping costs are $25.00 - $30.00 depending on the country.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING INFORMATION

We ship fast within 1 business day and all domestic ground shipping is free! Items paid for friday-sunday will be shipped monday morning. We use USPS insured Priority Mail for all shipments within in the USA. We ship Monday through Friday. For your protection, the package will not be left at your doorstep, a signature is always required to deliver your package. When your package has been shipped, you will be notified via email with a tracking number. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam filter.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

We use the United States Post Office for all International shipments. We won't ship regular airmail, Express Mail only as that is the only method that includes a tracking number and proof of delivery. All items are shipped in gift boxes, and we make sure every item is packed properly and securely for a safe and secure shipment. All international packages are sent via Express Mail with full insurance and signature confirmation. All EMS packages include a tracking number and can be tracked on the usps web site. Buyer is responsible to pay for any customs, taxes or duties that your government may charge you. The actual USPS Express Mail shipping costs are $25.00 - $30.00 depending on the country.

COMBINING MULTIPLE ITEMS IN ONE SHIPMENT

We are happy to combine multiple items in one shipment. However, all items must be paid in full within the 3 days of the auction ending dates and each item must be paid within 3 days of auction ending. If you plan to combine items, please drop me an email to let me know.

RING SIZING

We do not offer ring sizing services any longer. Some rings shouldn't be resized, and some can be resized just a few sizes up or down depending on the individual piece. A qualified and experienced local jeweler can assist you with your sizing needs.

RETURN POLICY

Customer satisfaction and friendly personalized service is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the item within 7 days of date of receipt for a full purchase price refund, or exchange, less the actual shipping charges. Any item that has been worn, altered in any way, can not be returned. We are always very happy to work with you with a smile and prompt friendly service. We want you to be thrilled with your purchase and it is our goal to have you as a customer for life.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF OPALS

We use only natural solid Australian Opals for our filigree jewelry creations. You will not see a doublet or triplet here! A doublet is a very thin slice of opal glued to an onyx backing. A triplet is simply a doublet with a clear cap glued onto the top. We use only natural solid Opals of various types. The types of Opals we use are Crystal Opals, White Based Opals, Black Opals, and Semi-Black Opals. Crystal Opals are called Crystal Opals because they have a translucent or semitranslucent base, and they are usually very bright, depending on the individual stone. A crystal Opal will generally show all of it's true color when you are wearing it on your finger. Your finger acts a base which the color in the Opal can reflect from, giving off bright beautiful color flashes. White or light based Opals are more opaque, not translucent, but can have very strong color flash depending on the individual stone. Black or Semi-Black Opals have a darker base color that ranges from Light to Medium Gray to Black depending on the individual stone and usually have very vivid colors. Light Opal - is the family of opal which shows a play-of-color within or on a light body tone by reference to the AGIA Body Tone chart N7, N8 or N9. The N9 category is referred to as white based opal. Dark or Semi-Black Opal - is the family of opal which shows a play-of-color within or on a dark body tone by reference to the AGIA Body Tone Chart N5, N6. Black Opal - is the family of opal which shows a play-of-color within or on a black body tone by reference to the AGIA Body Tone Chart N1, N2, N3 and N4. These are Australian Opal industry standard guidelines for pricing Opal. Red or orange are the most valuable colors of any type of Opal. Black or Semi-Black opal $1500.00-$10,000.00 per carat ranging from fine to gem quality. Crystal opal $200.00-$6000.00 per carat ranging from fine to gem quality. White based opal $200-$500.00 per carat ranging from fine to gem quality. A carat is about 8x6mm in size if it has a cabochon cut. Most black opal is a blush-green color but can be any combination including gold, red, violet, yellow, and orange. Probably the rarest of all gems including fancy color diamonds is a very black, dark background with reds/pinks and other colors splashed across the stone with intense brightness and a "dance" that no stone can match. The top stones of this description can command $40,000 or more per carat. A Harlequin pattern black opal is so rare that it can be compared to a red diamond. The patterns can increase values dramatically. There are several distinct patterns that are rare and very desirable that are found in very few Opals. These patterns command very high prices because of their rarity and beauty. They are Harlequin, Flagstone, Ribbon, Straw, Rolling Flash, and Chinese Writing to name a few.

AUCTION PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTIONS

Much effort has been made to provide high quality images (best viewed at 1028 by 764 pixels resolution or higher) and an accurate description of each item. The measurements and carat weight of all items are approximate weights and measurements. All photos are taken with a Nikon digital camera under a small florescent desk lamp, or outdoors under natural sunlight. The Opals are positioned to show the maximum color the stone shows. The colors an Opal shows will vary in different lighting situations. As with all Opals, they cannot show their maximum color in the dark or low light as Opals need light to reflect their color flash. The stronger the light is that you view your Opal under, the stronger color the stone will show. Most Opals flash their colors when the stone is moved around. It is rare for an Opal to show alot of color while sitting still. It is impossible to get an 100% accurate photo of an Opal as all Opals change colors as the stone is moved around and from different angles and under different lighting situations. We do the best that we can to present the stone as it looks in person, but more often then not, the stones do look different in person. There will always be some variances and more often then not an Opal will look different in person depending the lighting that you are viewing the stone under. A camera does not see color flash exactly the same as the human eye, so the photos are provided to give the bidders an idea of what the stone looks like at it's best angles under direct lighting, but they are not intended to be an exact representation of what the stone looks like in person, or at all angles, or under any lighting situation. That would be impossible and I am not a professional photographer and do not claim to be. Depending on the lightness or darkness settings on your personal computer monitor can make a stone look lighter or darker then it really is. I have no control over that. Photoing opals is not an exact science and the stones never look identical to the photos in person. So, please keep that in mind when bidding. Be sure to email me with any questions prior to bidding and I'll be happy to answer promptly. The item pictured in the images on the auction page will appear much larger than actual size to show the detail; please refer to the stated dimensions for actual size. If you are unsure of a size of a piece, just ask. Do not assume a piece is bigger or smaller, use the stated measurements in the descriptions, or simply ask.
