I am now able to offer a wide variety of windows acquired from the U.K. when houses are either demolished or refurbished. It is amazing to see the transformation that takes place when colorful ANTIQUE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS are added not to mention the additional value that it adds to a property.

An antique leaded stained glass does not need to match the exact size of an opening. It can be made to fit a larger opening. Here are examples of what can be done with different windows:

EXAMPLE A:

BEFORE:

2 identical ANTIQUE leaded stained glass

The glass is cleaned, added to with complementary glass and lead (the antique windows were completely preserved), double glazed (the antique is placed inside thermo windows, the glass then becomes at least an inch thick) to meet the standards of Canadian winters (I would think that this technique could be used in hurricane/tornado areas also) and placed in new frames.

AFTER: The 2 middle windows were joined, glass and lead was added to the bottom.

AFTER: We added complementary glass all around to fit an existing opening. The idea was to detract from looking at the brick wall outside:

2 very different windows because the left one was found behind a wall. The size of the opening was increased in the width to allow for 3 windows.

3 leaded windows dating to the early 1920's with the view of a brick wall. There used to be a vine covering the wall. When the vine came down, the view was no longer fun appealing so, the windows were replaced to hide the brick wall.

During the day, we can appreciate the beauty of the windows while at night the windows provide beauty to passersby. The possibilities are limitless!
