Hollywood@Cannes Auction 8 - 24 May To support Women in Film's efforts in providing funds and resources to help women complete their films and enter film festivals, FilmFestivals.com is sponsoring a second large online auction at eBay.com to coincide with Cannes 2000. As was true for the Award Auction, which coincided with the Oscars, celebrities in the entertainment community are contributing memorabilia and collectibles, from autographed scripts and photographs, movie costumes, hats, T-shirts, production crew jackets, posters, paintings... As the number one website devoted to motion picture events, FilmFestivals.com has been providing daily coverage of the Cannes festival since 1995. Special for the year 2000 event, our team of 30 have declared "Women in Film" its theme and will feature streaming videos, interviews, film reviews and festival news of both the official and off Cannes. For 25 years, Women in Film has been providing services that promote, nurture and guide women to achieve their highest career potential, including the prestigious annual Crystal and Lucy Awards. Women in Film is a 501(c)3 and contributions are tax deductible!
