WELCOME TO MY ABOUT ME PAGE

I am a one man business and have been going strong for over 7 years. I offer quality Nintendo merchandise with clear understandable listings and fast shipping. I answer my emails promptly and always offer a solution if a problem arises. Simply, I am easy to work with as my feedback score reflects. Read below to learn about fake Nintendo DS and fake Game Boy games. I fight hard against bootleg dealers, spreading the word and educating the online shopper is one way to fight the battle.

*FAKE GAME BOY GAMES* (See next paragraph regarding fake DS games) I find fake Game Boy game listings everyday on ebay. I do my best to report them. Most buyers are unaware and never know they have been scammed. It takes ebay a while to shut them down and all they do is open a new account and continue the scam. These fake games are normally made overseas and the internal battery (which saves your game data) often last just a few weeks. The size of the cartridges and prongs are not always exact. This can damage your systems connectors, ruining your system. Avoid listings that do not show you a photo of the actual cartridge or listings where the seller is registered in Hong Kong or an unfamiliar country. Often these fake games do not even attempt to match the official Nintendo released label, a sure give away. Compare your label to other listings, this is a great way to see the difference. The fake labels vary if quality. Some are very shiny and others are a stretched out photo print. The fake game labels are put on by hand and sometimes crooked. The real Nintendo released labels are put on by machine and exact. Some of the fake labels look pretty close to the original but here are a few ways to tell.... ALL AUTHENTIC GAME BOY CARTRIDGES HAVE AN INDENTED LOT NUMBER ON THE LABEL. Hold any Game Boy cartridge at an angle under a light, you will see the lot number, it is usually on the right hand side of the label. It will be a number like 22, 47 or something similiar, it is not hard to see. Also, the Advance cartridges have NINTENDO stamped in white just above the metal prongs. Use a good light but you will see it plain as day. The fake games do not have either feature. One more note, a few of these fake games can be found at your local used video game store like EB Games, Electronic Boutique, Game Stop, & Game Crazy. Usually this happens when someone trades in their games and the clerk is not paying attention or simply could care less, so be careful.

*FAKE NINTENDO DS GAMES* The bottom left corner is rounded a little differently on the fake ones. Also if you flip the cartridge over the Nitnendo logo and NTR 005 PAT. Pend. should be indented, feel it with your fingernail. The fake ones just use a stamp and smooth. Just below this is a lot number on the real games like AHDENOJ22. The fake ones are blank. You will also notice a difference in the quality of the art work and instruction booklet if one was included. If a case was included, it should be black, NOT CLEAR and it should have the NINTENDO logo inside the case to the right of the spot that holds the cartridge. The fake game cases are blank inside with no Nintendo logo. If your games was advertised as new the shrink wrap corners should be machine folded on the corners, not just a sealed line all the way around the case.
