A note regarding the DSR (Star Feedback ratings)
Ebay has set up a system where they tell you, the buyer, that a 4 is a good rating to leave. In reality, a 4 will effect sellers placement in the ebay search engine since ebay is now sorting searches based on our star rating. To rank high in search, sellers must maintain a 4.8 on all 4 rankings in the DSR. So anything less than a 5 will lower our star ranking and place our items lower in search. Please keep this in mind when leaving stars for your sellers. If you were pleased overall with your transactions from the sellers you buy from, please just click the highest rating on all the star feedback ratings. Thank you.

A note regarding my shipping methods and payment:
Paypal payments require a confirmed address. Per paypals policy, I will only ship to the confirmed address on your paypal payment.  

If you are buying an item where UPS is the stated shipping method, then your confirmed address must include a street address (UPS can not deliver to a Post office box). Most of my glass, pottery and breakable items are shipped by UPS only. Smaller non-breakable items will be shipped by the Post office.

Hi, welcome to my ebay store/about me page

I specialize in Depression era glass and pottery, carrying an inventory of about 10,000 pieces. This includes Adam to Windsor patterns, Cambridge, Fostoria, Heisey, Hall, Fiesta, Fireking and most patterns made from the 1920's-1960's.

I also deal in Cartoon & promotional glasses. This includes Disney, Warner Bros., Coca-cola glasses, Pepsi glasses, Sports glasses, as well as European glasses. I have a current inventory of over 8,000 glasses available.

Although I specialize in Depression era glass/pottery as well as promotional glasses, you may find other items on my auctions as well so please check them out often. I try to run between 500-600 auctions a month and do keep my ebay store fully loaded with goodies at all time.

 

I've been a long time mail order dealer way before the days of ebay, so feel safe in the knowledge that I know how to pack glassware so it arrives in excellent condition to you.

All of my items are in mint condition unless I state otherwise in the description of my auctions and I carefully inspect everything again before it is sent out.

Regarding ebays recent fee and policy changes


Ebay recently increased sellers final value fees by an astonishing 67% making it extremely hard for sellers to make a reasonable living on this site.

They have instituted policies to limit where in the search engine our items will appear based on our feedback and DSR (star ratings).

They are offering discounts on listing fees however it is a "catch 22 situation" as the discounts are based on our DSR (star ratings) and are extremely difficult if not impossible to meet ebays criteria for the discount.

The feedback system will no longer be a level playing field for sellers and buyers as sellers will no longer be able to leave a negative for thier customers. As a buyer you may think this is a good idea, but if you examine it closely, it dilutes your postive feedback numbers since all buyers, good or bad, will now have 100% positive feedback. This policy is a bad policy for both buyers and sellers and the entire ebay community.

Paypal is changing the policy of releasing funds. They are reserving the right to hold any payment recieved by sellers for up to 21 days. In other words, they are reserving the right to float our funds for up to 21 days.
