Howdy!
First, most of my eBay offerings are not listed as auction items. To see all my listings in one place go to: www.stores.ebay.com/store=280507 , or click on the small red doorway shown on any of my listings.
My name is George Baker and I am an old grey haired senior citizen who lives in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. To add to my social security income I work part time for a company delivering small freight shipments as far west as Texas and Colorado, as far north as Minnesota and New England, and as far south as Miami Florida. When those shipments are completed my time is my own and on the way back to Atlanta I use it to find items for my PINNACLE APPAREL eBay store, which exists only on eBay. I check out garage sales, flea markets, thrift store, store sales, store closings, etc., wherever I can find nice things for my prospective customers. I literally check thousands of items for every one that I select for PINNACLE APPAREL because I want to earn the reputation of offering only top quality items. Most years I travel around 100,000 miles in that work which, in turn, allows me to look for merchandise for PINNACLE APPAREL over a huge geographical area at no additional expense to me.
Because of these trips a customer, or prospective customer, may not have a purchase acknowledged, or a question answered for up to 4 days. That's rare though. Shipments are almost always made (and questions answered) in less than 36 hours (not counting weekends and holidays).
To help my prospective customers I DO NOT use eBay's photo services. I have purchased a seperate web site for the sole purpose of storing photos of my merchandise because I want to provide my customers with much larger photos than would be allowed by eBay. This allows them to see much more detail and helps assure them of the quality of my offerings. The additional decorative design work is done for the purpose of making a nice presentation. I like doing that kind of graphics work and, because it is time consuming and labor intensive, it shows that I am willing to put more work into my offerings than probably any other seller on eBay. I also think that speaks to integrity and that is one of the reasons I do it.
If you like the backgrounds and borders you see associated with my listings I will design some for you at the rate of five for $25.
It is my personal policy to describe the items I offer for sale in the best manner possible, BUT, to never make them sound to be in better condition than they actually are. When their shipment is received I want my customers to feel their merchandise is exactly as it was described, OR BETTER THAN IT WAS DESCRIBED, never less. From the feedback I have received it looks like I usually succeed in that effort.
NOTE: If you purchase clothing from me (or from anyone else) it is a good idea to appropriately clean it shortly after you receive it. During shipping your purchase can be in proximity to dirt, dust, moisture, humidity, fumes, biologicals and other assorted things. Because a customer should do that we normally don't do it before we sell an item, except in cases where it is obviously necessary to make a good appearance.
Thanks for stopping by and if you like what you have found here please tell your friends.
