We have items from thrift shops, flea markets, and yard sales that we feel are of high quality and in reasonable conditon. Some of our items include: books, artwork, glass and pottery, collectibles, jewelry, clothing and accessories.

Meet the Gates Family
Our seller name "ggggoods" was derived from the 3 gates (Jack G, Joan G and David G) selling "goods" (good stuff). We have completed our sixth year anniversary of eBay selling and we find it is a good forum for finding permanent homes for some of the beautiful and interesting thrift shops finds that longer fit in our house. We were excited to exceed the 2800 positive feedback mark. Jack's son, David, got his father interested in listing some of his apartment overflow. David has a real good eye for beautiful and valuable art and has spent a lot of time researching glass art and antiques so knows quite a bit about them. Now, both he and Jack are thrift-shop junkies. We offer a fairly wide range of items for sale including, but not limited to, glass art, pottery, antiques, vintage clothing, porcelain, books, records, paintings, prints, jewelry and occasionally a few children's items like Pokemon cards, models and trains. We will also have some sporting goods and once in a while electronics and camera items. You never know what to expect from our site and the items are constantly changing, so check us out often - we may have just what you're looking for. Recently, David has decided to open his own site, so Jack and Joan are left to do their own buy and selling.
Some of our Policies
We like to ship all our items well padded and use US Priority Mail or Global Priority Mail and Airmail Letter Post for overseas shipments whenever we can. This means that your items will arrive quickly once they have been paid for. Some of the heavier books we ship by media mail but we try to stick to the faster service whenever it isn't cost prohibitive. With the new postal rates, some of the heaver and bigger items will be shipped Parcel Post, but we really prefer priority when at all possible. We ship the day after being paid (if the post office is open), so the sooner you pay, the faster you receive your item. Some days we make an extra run to the post office, so we have on occasion shipped the same day payment is received (if it is received early enough in the day). Everyone is anxious to receive their purchases quickly and we find it is most appreciated when the item arrives within a few days after being paid for. If you don't use Paypal to pay for your item, we would like to hear from you so we will know your method of payment and how long we should wait to receive it. We always appreciate knowing of any delay in payment to help reassure us that we will eventually be paid for items won.
It is usually stated in our listing that "there are no returns", but if for some reason anyone feels we have misrepresented any item (we try to state all defects as well as highlights when listing an item - but on occasion miss seeing a flaw), we are willing to negotiate a settlement as long as any concerns are brought to our attention prior to feedback being left. It is often difficult to order items from only pictures and our listings can be subjective and we know you want all the information you can get on an item before buying, so we encourage and welcome email questions and we will answer as honestly and quickly as we can and send additional pictures whenever anyone isn't sure of the condition of an item. We also love hearing from the eBay community whenever someone has interesting tips, comments, backgrounds, or knowledge that may be helpful in the descriptions on our listings. We have found that the eBay community is very knowledgeable and willing to help in many areas and we have learned a lot from our experiences through selling. It is always fun to hear little stories from our customers about themselves or the items they are bidding on.
We like to answer all email requests within a day of receipt (and sometimes within hours or minutes of receiving a question), so if you try to contact us and have not heard back, it may be because we are experiencing problems with our email provider so try again. We had one situation where none of our emails were being received by the person we had sold something to and we ended up getting a negative feedback even though we had made several attempts to send several emails that just never made it to their site. We are happy to provide additional pictures or descriptions when requested.
