Amy Reingold loved sewing as a child. She grew up in the midwest and received
a BFA in textile design. After college she attended the Cordon Bleu School of
Cookery, earning a Diploma Degree. From there her textile interests were put on
the back burner while she pursued a career as a chef. Amy was lucky to have worked
in several of the finest restaurants in the world and to have toured much of the
far east for menu development.
After marriage Amy happily
gave up cooking as a career and started working on her interest in textile art
again. Now, with two half grown children, Amy is designing coats for Grayson Preihs
and fully engaged once again in the beauty of fabric.
