About Us
Hannulink Tri Gear is a family
owned business run by longtime triathletes with a combined background in
triathlon of more than 30 years. We have raced everything from sprint to Ironman
distances countless times, we own business, teaching and coaching degrees and
licenses, we have worked in the triathlon industry for many years, and we are
happy to use this expertise to help our customers. Here on the eBay platform
you will mostly find brand name closeouts, samples, seconds and items from
seasons past but also brand new gear so please read our descriptions closely- we
do write them for your information and they will state whether an item is new,
used, a blemish, sample, second or anything else that is important.
Should you find that
you dislike something about our policies, please don't purchase from us but buy
from a store that better suits your needs.

Invoice
Generally we'll send you an
invoice within 24 hours of you winning an auction or purchasing an item via BIN
(Buy It Now) from our shop. Please wait for the invoice from us, especially if
you have bought multiple items that can be combined into one shipment because
only we can get the shipping discount to show in the invoice
correctly.

Communication
We do send you a lot of
information when you win or buy something from us to keep you informed every
step of the way. The emails you'll receive are as follows:
- Congratulations! You won.... (Winning
bidder notification)
- Invoice (very important when you buy
multiple items)
- Your payment has been received...or after
7 days:
- Payment reminder
- Your item has been shipped (this contains
a USPS tracking link)
- Feedback reminder (after 2
weeks)
If you don't receive any of
those emails, please check the settings of your email program, look in your
spam, trash or junk folder and make sure you are allowing our emails to reach
you. We can't adjust those settings for you.

Payment
We accept payment via paypal,
bank transfer and credit cards. Absolutely no personal
checks!
Paypal payments will be accepted only if you
live in the USA, Canada (Priority or Express Mail) or the UK (Priority or Express Mail) and you have a confirmed address. If your
address is not confirmed by paypal, your payment will be denied. You can confirm
your address in several different ways, please use paypal's help section to find
out how. Buyers from other countries who would like to use paypal must use Express Mail as their shipping option - trackable and insured. This security measure is necessary due to a rise in fraudulent
activity, and it confirms your identity as well as protects us from doing
something wrong.
Bank
transfer to our German bank account in Euro is accepted from
everyone else in Europe who doesn't want to send us an international money
order or pay for express shipping. Account details will be sent to you in the "Congratulations! You won..."

Please read our item
descriptions, shipping information, faq's and everything we have written -
including what is on the about the seller page, the page you are currently on -
we have written it for you. 99% of all questions have their answer in the FAQ's,
descriptions or other information pages already. If you don't get an answer
to your question within 24 hours, most likely the answer can be found in the
text OR since we do answer pretty much every question despite everything we have
written for you, you are not receiving our emails - please check your email
settings, spam, trash and junk folder.

Combined Shipment
You have 7 days from the win or
purchase of your first item to collect more items that will be consolidated into
one invoice and shipment. In order to combine items into one invoice and
shipment, do NOT pay for any of the items until you are done shopping. Only then
can we revise your invoice and include eligible items. Every time you win or buy
another item, we will send you an updated invoice. Please only pay when you are
done shopping and received our final consolidated invoice that reflects
discounted shipping according to our policies. If you pay immediately after
you win or buy an item, it moves from "awaiting payment" to "awaiting shipment"
on our end automatically and will be processed and shipped. We work within an
existing system on eBay and have no way to change this process. After 7 days
you will receive a payment reminder automatically to ensure timely
processing.

Domestic Shipping
Once we receive CLEARED
payment, we will generally ship out your purchase within one business day.
Business days are considered Monday thru Friday but since we do use USPS (United
States Postal Service) we do ship most Saturdays as well. CLEARED payment means,
actual deposited funds - when you send us an e-check via paypal, it takes 5-7
business days to clear, and we don't ship before it does.
You have the option between
USPS (United States Postal Service) First Class Parcel Post or Priority
Mail for domestic shipments.
First Class
Parcel Post has a delivery goal of 2-9 business days and is
comparable to UPS/FedEx Ground, only cheaper and with more primitive tracking:
it might say "package accepted...", "package en route...", "package
delivered..." - not exactly to the minute when and where and
how.
Priority
Mail has a delivery goal of 2-3 business days and is comparable to
UPS/FedEx 2-day-air, only waaaayyyyyy cheaper and with the same primitive
tracking as mentioned above. You are always being sent an email with the USPS
tracking link when we process your shipment, so you have it and can check it.
Asking us where your item is doesn't make much sense as we have the exact same
information you have been sent.
Please note that it is their
goal to deliver in that time frame. Ebay puts it in every auction by default
that sellers are not responsible for the shipping service transit times,
sometimes it can take longer, like around holidays.
If you need full tracking, you
are welcome to let us know your UPS/FedEx account number, and we will ship your
item any which way you like. Everything is possible, as long as you are willing
to pay the price for it.

International Shipping
Once we receive CLEARED
payment, we will generally ship out your purchase within one business day, so
there is no difference to domestic shipping there - please see above.
To say the least, international
shipping is problematic: Everyone wants to order, hardly anybody wants to pay
the postage, and definitely absolutely nobody is willing to pay customs and
duty. We get an abundance of emails that all have the same context: Why won't
you stick my item in an envelope and ship it first class? Why don't you write
gift on the customs declaration? Why don't you lie and put a lower value so I
don't have to pay duty? Well, simple. We run a business and we have
expertise, and we know you will raise 7 kinds of hell when your item takes a
long time to reach your country, and first class is the slowest service of all
of them. We don't know each other from Adam but even if we did, we simply won't
lie, cheat or do anything else illegal for you. So please don't ask.
By default we ship
USPS International Priority Mail. Delivery goal is
6-10 business days, and according to our experience USPS is mostly on the lower
end of that delivery goal, except for high volume times such as holidays. Due
to the fact that we have to spend about 10 times more time on each international
shipment than on a domestic one, it is more expensive. But the $1 we charge more
for handling is not what you are upset about. USPS made a few changes in 2007
that meant a price increase for international mail of more than 100%. Yep, that
much. They are continuing to raise their prices every year. And still, they are much cheaper than UPS and FedEx still.
If you need your shipment
faster and fully trackable, again, you are welcome to let us know your UPS/FedEx
account number, and we will ship your item any which way you like, as long as
you pay for it.

Customs and Duty
International shipments are subject to import regulations of the country they are being shipped to, and customers are responsible for all costs incurred such as duty and tax.
In German:

Insurance
It is in YOUR best interest to
insure your shipment.
There is less than a 1% chance
that your shipment gets lost but it does happen, and we are NOT responsible in
the event it does. We will not reship, we will not give you any money back, we
will not feel pity for you.
Because if you don't insure
your item, we can't file a claim with the postal service! So please refrain
from sending us hate mail when you took a gamble and your shipment was not worth
a couple more dollars to you to insure it.

Item Description
We spend quite a bit of time
writing item descriptions, to be thorough, to be exact, to be informative. To
give you, since you can't touch, examine or try on, as much information as
possible. A lot of times we are able to use manufacturer descriptions, and we
add in measurements taken from the items, or taken from the manufacturer size
chart that was used during the item's season. Manufacturer size charts are
readjusted every year to reflect changes to the sizes and how the items fit, so
please go by what we put here in our descriptions, NOT by the size chart the a
manufacturer posts right now for their current stock. How do we know this?
Our founder measures stuff all the time. In fact, she is able to fit anyone into all of our stock by looking at the person or receiving the following measurements: Height, weight,
chest, waist and hip circumference (widest point of chest and hips/buttocks). So
when in doubt, feel free to send an email to sylvie@hannulink.com, and she
will help fit you.
99% of our items are new with
tags, sometimes tags fall off though, or have been cut to resemble that an item
is from a past season, or has been taken out of stock, etc. Our Hannulink brand
items each come in their own garment bag but do not have any tags - and you
don't have to pay for the tags nor their design either!
Used or blemished items will
have text to that effect in their description. So if you are bidding e.g. on a
wetsuit that starts at one dollar, it might be a demo, a blemish, a second or
used. Please read the description, we write it for you. Don't write us
afterwards, complain you are not happy and say "...but I assumed..." You are
welcome to assume: Assume responsibility!

Photos
We take our own photos unless
we are allowed to use official merchandise stock photos. Please do not steal our
Hannulink photos and use them without our approval, not only is it illegal but
we will also not exactly be your friends...we put in the time, money and effort,
did the work, and stealing is just not cool.

Feedback
Positive feedback will be given
automatically and instantaneously to you after you
post positive feedback for us.
That is how our system is set
up because we have too many transactions to be able to post feedback manually.
We chose to post after you post because this lets us know the transaction is
complete and you have received your shipment. You might think you would do it
differently but the fact remains, this is our shop and thus our decision how to
set up our system. Nasty or threatening emails will not change that.
Should you have a problem with
your item, please contact us before you leave negative feedback. We are human,
not free of mistakes, and if we can help to better the situation, we most

Exchanges
All sales are final - that is
the general rule for closeouts, seconds, blemishes, samples and used
items. The exception to that rule is as follows: If your item is a brandnew
closeout or Hannulink garment, you purchased it as a BIN (Buy It Now) from our
shop, we do have a different size of the same item in stock (ask
us!), and you will send your item
back to us along with a self addressed and stamped envelope and clear
instructions to the size you want instead, we will process an exchange for you.
Absolutely no exchanges for auction items!

Returns
All sales are final - that is
the general rule for closeouts, seconds, blemishes, samples and used
items. If you are not happy with your item, please feel free to resell or
donate it, give or throw it away. At the prices we offer, there is simply no
wiggle room to hire someone who processes returns for us, and our hands are
full, and our pockets are empty. If you require full on customer service, please
pay retail prices at retail stores.
Hannulink brand garments are
not closeouts. They are current season articles, and they cost us a lot more to
make, and you more to purchase from us. Should you want to return a Hannulink
BIN (Buy It Now) item, please send it back in its original packaging and unused
within 7 days of receipt, and we will refund your item price. There will be no
refund for any of the incurred shipping costs in either direction. Hannulink
items have a return policy stated underneath their descriptions.
In the event you receive a brandnew, bagged Hannulink item that has a cosmetic defect, a loose thread, frayed drawstring or any kind of defect we did not see because the items are packaged, please send the item back to us via FIRST CLASS POSTAL SERVICE. We will reimburse you for first class postal service only, and we will send you another item pronto. Please do not use the item and then expect to send it back and receive a refund or new item. And please refrain from threatening or blackmailing us, making demands or being rude. We are very friendly human beings, just like you.

Non Paying Bidders (NPB)
We described above that you
have 7 days to collect items, and that means 7 days to submit payment to us.
After 7 days you will receive an automatic email called a payment reminder. It
is exactly that, a reminder to submit payment. It is not a threat by any
means. Once you have received the payment reminder, your transaction is
monitored on our end under what eBay calls "Dispute Console". The dispute
console helps us keep track of transactions that are still awaiting payment and
are overdue. It really is a help for us so we don't lose sight with all the
transactions we have. You can answer to the open dispute and let us know what is
going on, whether you will pay, why you haven't, and so on; we answer back and
all the communication is neatly being kept in one place. Being in the
dispute console buys you 7 additional days to submit payment. Should you not
answer or tell us you won't pay, we can file a request to receive our final
value fee (~10% of the item price goes to ebay immediately after you win or buy)
back on the 8th day. You will then receive an unpaid item strike from eBay, we
will block you and you will receive negative feedback in order to warn other
sellers.
The dispute console is about
communication. We believe people can meet obstacles that prevent them from
paying on time, and the dispute console gives you the opportunity to tell us
what the hold up is, so please use it.

Seller Protection Policy Details
The seller protection policy
covers most sellers for any transaction that paypal deems fraudulent. In order
to qualify, the following is required from us:
Seller must have
a verified business or premier account - Hannulink does!
Item is shipped to an eligible address. - Confirmed
address, that is, and we do without exception. Item is a tangible
good. - Hannulink only sells tangible goods. Proof of
delivery. - We purchase that service from USPS. Signature
receipt for valuable items. - Enforced for all items over
$250. Item sent in a timely manner. - Hannulink ships within
one business day of receiving cleared payment. A special note
regarding international shipping. - We are only covered for payments
from USA, UK and Canada.
In recent months there has been
a spike in fraudulent activity, so we are doing anything we can to protect
ourselves from such harm.
