H.E.A.R. - Hearing Education & Awareness for Rockers (San Francisco, CA, USA - www.hearnet.com) Founded in 1988, H.E.A.R. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus among musicians and music fans through education and grassroots advocacy. H.E.A.R. provides free hearing screenings in the San Francisco Bay Area and H.E.AR. Partner Audiologist referrals in the US www.hearnet.com H.E.A.R. clinic makes affordable custom musicians earplugs and custom molds for in ear stage monitors. H.E.A.R. conducts Listen Smart:Hearing Education Programs at schools in the US.
H.E.A.R. conducts Hearing Awareness Outreach Programs at music conferences, music events, music camps and distributes earplugs and hearing info.
