INTRODUCTION.
I am Henri, the spokesman on internet business for Happy Furniture and also the co-owner. Behind me is a whole team of people who make sure pictures are taken, items are packed and shipped. Happy Furniture is a privatly owned family business. It is with great pleasure that we roam all over Europe to buy the items we like and sell them to our customers that are located all over the world. Our specific interests are the Art Deco and Art Nouveau style period. Our main business is wholesale of furniture both antique and classical oak. Our offices and warehouses are located in Breda in the Netherlands, near to the Belgium border. If you are in the Netherlands you are welcome to meet the Happy Furniture crew there.

Yes, we agree they are high and we wished we could do better! But remember you are buying abroad. We feel confident that, like others before you, when you receive the beautiful and unusual item you have purchased, you will agree that it is worth every penny! We suggest to you that with combined purchases the most economical shipping costs can be accomplished.
We do our best to ship by the most reliable and thrifty means
possible. We use Royal Dutch MAIL service for shipments abroad. Their rates are based on the weight of the parcel. There are limitations to the total size the mail accept 3 mtr(circumferance + maximum length). Parcels above this size are shipped with FEDEX prioirity service. FEDEX provides buyers with unique tracking numbers so that they can track their shipments at the internet site of FEDEX. All FEDEX shipments are insured in full. When we confirm our sale to a buyer, for a parcel that can be shipped by mail, we offer PRIORITY MAIL most countires provide tracking service for inbound international deliveries. If you want your item to be insured for its full value you can ONLY use the priority mail service, we always advise to take out insurance as we can not take a claim into concideration if an item gets damaged in transit. When the size of the item requires that we ship via FEDEX we provide that rate. Items are shipped within 5 days after we receive payment for the item. We will always confirm by e-mail the date your item is shipped.

DAMAGE AND INSURANCE.
It is always possible that inspite of our careful packing damage has occurred to the item during shipping to the buyer. Items shipped by mail are insured by the postal system. Items shipped by FEDEX are insured with FEDEX. Damage should be reported to us and to your local post office where they will provide you with an indemnity form to file your claim. Claims will not be processed by Dutch mail insurance without an indemnity form issued by the receiving mail service. Please save the carton, broken item(s), packing material and shipping statement for inspection by U.S. Mail agents. If you choose for the surface shipping there is NO insurance, if an item gets damaged or lost in transit then Happy Furniture or its associates are not liable for the finanacial damage that occurs for the receiving party. Lost items have to be traced by mail first before insurance will cover the loss, mail wil not declare a parcel lost or start a trace within 12 weeks after shipping.
PAYMENT
We offer the following payment options; PAYPAL, or a transfer of the funds. We accept VISA/MASTER CARD, only in our local currency the EURO. You can leave your card details on our secure server. All our prices are listed in US OR EURO Dollars.
Ordered Items will be held for 10 days after confirmation of your order, after that they will be placed back in the inventory, unless otherwise agreed.
ONLINE ORDERING
We have no fancy store with shopping card, we maintain a low cost site, and let that reflect in our pricing. Just send us an email with the item number(s) you want to have more information about or want to order. Even if you need more pictures of a certain item. We will confirm your order and arrange payment and shipping with you. Clicking on the thumbnails provide a full set of pictures and an item description and the shipping costs.
