Established in 1964, the Herbert Palmer Gallery has shown work of master European Modern artists, and introduced leading Contemporary artists from all over the world to the Los Angeles community. The Gallery has enjoyed being an Associate of Sothebys.com since it's launch in 2000 and until it's closing in April 2003. All former Sothebys.com Associates are professional dealers and were selected and approved by Sotheby. Only Sothebys.com Associates were permitted to offer property on Sothebys.com. The Gallery offers prints, multiples, sculpture, works on paper, drawings and paintings by artists such as Arnoldi, Bellmer, E. Berman, Chagall, Christo, Cuevas, Dine, Francis, Goode, Hiler, Lundeberg, Moore, Mullican, Oldenburg, Onslow Ford and Rosenquist, to name a few. Many of the Gallery's artworks have made their way to American and International museums, galleries, private and corporate collections.
Herbert Palmer, Director, is a graduate fellow in art history from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. He holds a position on the Board of Directors of the Art Dealers Association of California. Susan Becker, Mr. Palmer's assistant, is the correspondent with Ebay clients.
Herbert Palmer Gallery has no reserves on its items. If you have questions by email about any of our auctions you must give us at least one business day before end of auction to answer.
