Our goal at Hey Teach! is to provide teachers and families with the materials needed to create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment for children, at reasonable prices. Knowing first hand the meager resources teachers have to work with, we try to offer classroom resources to teachers at a discount from regular retail pricing. We take great pride in our fast shipping and customer service (please check our feedback).
Hey Teach! is owned by sisters Mary Beth and Helen. Mary Beth (the creative one) taught in New Jersey's school system for over twelve years. Helen (the practical one) has worked in finance and accounting for over 15 years. Together we try to pick out exciting and new products to liven up a child's life from the classroom to the bedroom. Please visit our site, www.heyteach.biz, to see what we have to offer. Hey Teach! started as a physical store but we soon realized we were in the wrong marketplace. We had some inventory left when we had to close our store and on a whim, in early 2005, we listed some items on ebay with the thought of just trying to get rid of our inventory. The next day we were amazed to sign onto ebay and find that half the items we listed had sold and Hey Teach! the online store was born. We are having a ball with the global marketplace. We are thrilled that our inventory is so well received not only nationwide, but worldwide as well. Our items are in classrooms around the world! We keep maps of the US and world on our walls and love to mark each new destination for our inventory. So far our farthest destination is New Zealand (several times over thanks to one of our favorite customers).
All our items are brand new from our manufacturers and, where applicable, in original packaging. If you do not see what you are looking for in our store, www.hiteach.org, please contact us. If possible we will try to order items directly for you with a short (hopefully) wait for us to get shipment from our manufacturers.

We try to make your shopping experience with Hey Teach! as simple and painfree as possible. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us directly so that we can work with you to rectify any issues. We offer combined shipping on multiple purchases. Our shipping rates are all based on weight. If you are purchasing multiple items from our store, generally we can offer a better combined rate if you wait to pay until we send you an invoice with the combined shipping. Ebay takes the individual weights and adds them together to give you a combined rate, however, each individual rate takes packing into account. Therefore, if you are buying three items and use ebay's automatic rate you are paying for packing three times.
We generally ship via the United States Post Office and prefer to use either first class or priority mail. We do frequently offer third class shipping options with the warning that buyers use third class at their own risk. Unfortunately, we have had very bad experiences with third class mail (60 day delivery times and multiple lost packages). We offer Air Mail and Economy Post to our international customers.
We accept payment through Paypal and by money order or personal check. Please note if you pay by personal check there is a clearance period (usually 3-5 business days) after the check is received. Items will ship the day after payment clears.
