I am a New York native, born and raised, and so is Bucky. We live with my husband in big, bad New York City.  Ever since I was a teenager, I was fascinated by the clothes in the old movies.  Fortunately for me, my husband is an old movie buff, too!  I have been writing style guides to some of the cinema's most famous screen icons: Marilyn Monroe, Jean Harlow, Rita Hayworth, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, and many others!

I adore selling beautiful, womanly, sexy, stylish plus size fashion! Who wants to look like a giant toddler in a teddy bear sweatshirt? Not me! We want you to look BODACIOUS: glamourous, inviting, the sort of woman who stands out wherever she goes, no matter what size she is!  So I stock both modern and vintage fashion and accessories for YOU.

But not everyone can be a diva 24/7, so we have clothes for your downtime, your more casual moments, and even modest clothing. There are always new things in our Clearance Section!

Rita was the mother of one of my dearest friends. She was a wonderful woman, Italian by heritage (like me). Rita died too young. She traveled the world collecting wonderful jewelry. Some of the things I am selling from her estate belonged to Rita, and some are from Rita's mother, who was an immigrant from Italy. Many thanks to Sally Regan for the beautiful picture of her grandmother.

I know it's risky to buy something you can't try on, even though catalog buyers (including myself) have been doing it for decades. Each garment is measured thoroughly. Even modern day clothing manufacturers don't always agree on sizes! My plus size range chart is in line with most standard plus size charts, but it's a good idea to know your own measurements, whether buying new or vintage clothes. (Hint: Measuring a favorite garment and comparing that to your own measurements will give you an idea of what numbers to look for in my vintage clothing.)  Also check my guide to buying plus size vintage here on Ebay!

And please remember that vintage clothing is NOT NEW.  It has had a life before it came here, and there will some signs of that life, which will be disclosed.
