ABOUT US~

Thanks for taking a minute to learn about us. We're collectors of unusual antique fruit jars and other early glassware, as well as early American furnishings & decorative items. We have been ebay members since 1998, where we buy and sell early glassware and Americana. We are interested in acquiring good quality jars, bottles and flasks, blown glass, and stoneware. We purchase collections of any size.

Please read our sales terms below, and have fun bidding!

OUR SALES TERMS

SALES:
We want your purchasing experience to be a simple, convenient and pleasant one. We will provide accurate, complete written descriptions, and quality photographs of the items we offer for sale. We promise to stand behind our descriptions of the merchandise offered, so that you may buy with confidence. This is especially valuable when purchasing items sight-unseen.

PAYMENT:
For the fastest service, we accept payments via Paypal. We also accept other methods of payment. If you do not see your desired payment method listed on the auction page, please feel free to inquire.

SALES TAX:
We are Registered Retail Merchants in the state of Indiana. State law requires us to collect 7% sales tax for items shipped to Indiana residents, and for items picked up at our location here in Indiana. If you are a Registered Retail Merchant buying for resale, send us a completed exemption form to be exempt from sales tax.

SHIPPING:
We pride ourselves in careful and safe packaging. We ship most items by US Postal Mail. You pay only for the cost of shipping and packaging materials....there is no additional charge. If you are purchasing multiple items, we are more than happy to ship them together to save you on the cost of postal fees.

RETURNS:
Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. You may bid with confidence on glassware items, as we offer a full return privilege on all glassware, as follows:

If you receive your glassware item and find that it is different than described, SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS BELOW, let us know by email or phone (812.466.6521) within 3 days of receipt. Once we reply, you may then send the item back, and receive a prompt refund upon safe return of the item. We will always point out any damage we find on an item on the listing page. Except for modern reproductions, all old glassware items that we sell will have normal wear, such as base wear, scratches and scuffing over the body of the item, light stains, shallow burst bubbles, and etc. We consider this normal for authentic period utilitarian glassware items (fruit jars, bottles, flasks, lamps, tableware, etc), particularly those that have not been professionally cleaned. All items that we offer will have various amounts of the aforementioned signs of use, unless we specifically point out otherwise in the item description. If scratches, scuffs, base wear, minor stains, or minor burst bubbles are of a concern to you, contact us for specifics about the level of usage wear present on the item, prior to bidding. This type of usage wear may or may not be mentioned in the item description. These types of usage wear are not accepted as basis for a return. Return privilege ends at the conclusion of the 3-day review period.

DAMAGED ITEMS FOR SALE:
We seldom offer damaged or repaired glassware items, but occasionally do place a few hard-to-find pieces up for auction which have damage. Damaged or repaired jars and bottles will of course sell for sharply less than a comparable undamaged piece. Any items which are described as repaired or as damaged (i.e, those termed as "broken", "repaired", "cracked", "fissured", "chipped", "bruised", having "flashes" having "starred potstones", etc) are offered as is, and are not returnable....always bid accordingly.

ON-LINE AUCTION LISTINGS:
We add new listings to our auctions page each week. Click on the link below to view all of our current listings. We often have a good variety of scarce and better quality items up for auction. Be sure and visit our direct sales page also, where we are offering a variety of better-quality jars for immediate purchase. THANKS, and HAVE FUN!!!
