Welcome to Hound and Handbag Gift Company: a boutique that celebrates the little long doggies, and the ladies who spoil them (and themselves too...because they deserve it). Here you will find unique dachshund items, home decor, accessories and of course handbags. All stock is brand new, in original packaging and with tags. Many of the items are purchased from very reliable suppliers that have been part of my business life for over the last 10 years. Many of my suppliers cater to high end gift stores across the North America, so you can be assured of the quality of these items.Twice every year,I attend the Vancouver Gift Show, as well as the Seattle Gift Show to go shopping!
I have been in retail for almost all of my working life, and have seemed to be surrounded by gift ware and china. In many cases, I have been on the display and packing departments;packing breakables has become quite ingrained in my skills! I have been owned for 16 years by a wonderful black and tan smooth haired dachshund. Of course that means dachshund /wiener dog items in my home.When I started sourcing dachshund items for Hound and Handbag Gift Company, I made an effort to choose items that would be different, and hard to find yet still honor the quirkiness and iconic shape of the dachshund.
I am a self-confessed purse lover. All accessories and handbags not only must look good, but pass the test of functionality as well.
I started this store over a year ago after being introduced to Ebay by my sister in law. Soon the transition from buyer to Ebay Seller was as natural as breathing.The store originated out of two of the things I love and also know best.It's actually quite amazing to see others in different communities in the world who love these things as well! I have been fortunate to serve customers internationally. My goal is to build a worldwide community in this small section of e-commerce cyberspace.
