I suppose since I have been a painter nearly all my life, it was only a matter of time before I was going to have to paint one of my dolls. When I finally sat down and put a paintbrush to my first Gene, it made me so happy, I just had to do more. The most fun I can have is to create a one of a kind doll, and then create the perfect outfit for her to wear. It takes my art full circle, and I love what I am doing!
