Welcome to my About Me page!
Hopefully you are looking at this because you are thinking about buying from me and like to know a little more about your seller...beyond having great feedback!
I have been on eBay for about 5 years. Before that, I have had a variety of occupations including University Student Affairs administration, growing up in the Rare Coin business, running a 'show-based' collectibles business, teaching middle-school, & tutoring. My most recent "career" was working at a large (but not the largest) big-box retailer in Logistics. I went "full-time eBay" on July 31, 2009 and I (generally) have fun buying, selling, and making deals (and a little profit!)
I am married and have three children (2 younger ones being homeschooled, one older one out there trying to figure life out). The wife does most of the homeschooling, but I make it possible by working eBay full-time (does 60+ hours per week count as full-time?)...
I have very few hobbies other than eBay, but my interests are mainly all-things-geeky (at least they used to be geeky): superheroes, science fiction, etc. ...and politics (I am something of a news junkie...I watch the Daily Show for news and Fox News for the jokes (at least I hope they are joking!).
My favorite TV show is Heroes (and then practically all the shows on History, Discovery, etc.). My favorite food is "All You Can Eat". My favorite superhero is Thor. My favorite newscaster (other than Jon Stewart) is Robin Meade. My all-time favorite author is Heinlein (though I tend to find an author and read all he/she has written)...
