Welcome to our About Us eBay page! We are the Blake family, located in Ohio, member of the eBay community since August 18th, 1999. For simplicity's sake, our family of four shares this seller ID. We enjoy buying and selling on eBay. Selling allows us to make a little bit of income on items we no longer want or need, and it's also lots of fun!

About Natalie

Hello! My name is Natalie Blake. I am a young artist, and I frequently offer artwork, photography, Reborn dolls, and miscellaneous crafts for sale.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati, where I graduated in 2005. I have experience with a variety of art materials, but photography, portrait-making and digital media are my specialties. I also enjoy making woodblock prints.

I have received numerous rewards and prizes for my artwork, ever since I was little. Here's a rundown of some of my recent shows:

Natalie's Scrapbooking

One of my crafting passions is scrapbooking. I currently work at a scrapbooking store, where I also teach classes. A few times a year, I like to go through my scrapbooking supplies and purge my stash of items I use infrequently or not at all, selling these on eBay (of course). I also will occasionally sell class samples I've made and not been able to use in my personal scrapbooks.

One of my favorite scrapbooking techniques is paper piecing, which is the art of combining hand-cut pieces of paper to form an image of an object or character. Several years ago I was a popular eBay seller of paper piecings. Since then the competition has grown so much, and prices on these have been pushed down by new eBay sellers. Therefore, I now sell my artistic paper piecings pretty much exclusively through my website (custom orders welcome!). I also am available to make custom pages or even entire scrapbook albums for you! Natalie's Baby Dolls

In 2005, I discovered Reborn Dolls on eBay. These are vinyl playdolls or collectible dolls that are transformed into beautiful works of art. The reborn doll artist disassembles the doll, removes the factory paint, repaints it, adds real mohair to its head with a tiny needle, then reassembles the doll with a soft new body, joints for poseability, and pellets in the body for a squishy, cuddly, oh-so-lifelike feel!

One of the most common doll brands used by reborn artists is the Berenguer brand. My first "practice" doll was a tiny 5" Berenguer baby, which I named Chloe. I used acrylic paints on her, and reassembled her as a full vinyl doll with sand to weight her body. I think she looks like a little Spanish beauty!

My first full-size reborn baby was a vintage Berenguer "nursing" doll. She was a pretty ugly little thing before I started, but I just love how she turned out reborn! I also used acrylic paints on this doll, and made her soft doe-suede body from my own design. This baby is now named Michaila Simone, and I have lots of fun shopping for new outfits for her!
