Hello.  We are Jersharent -- "Jerry and Sharon" - and we run a small business on e-bay.

   We specialize in books -- used -- new -- sometimes rare, sometimes hard to find.  We sell at reasonable prices, most times far below retail.  

   We pride ourselves on quick turn-around of the product. In other words, we want to get the item into your hands as quickly as possible.  We have found that the United States Postal Service can handle that for us.  And we are very proud that many of the feedback comments include the words: "fast delivery".

   We get our books from a variety of sources: personal collections, auctions, estate sales, garage sales, and from people who are looking to sell their books.  Our new books come from a variety of places also.  Book liquidators and publishers are the main sources.   We are looking at low price and author recognition in most cases.  Obviously, because of the very low price we put on our books, we can't pay premium prices for the books, but we try to be fair.  If you have some books that you might want to sell, contact us (bookman@jershar.com), and we'll talk about it with you.

It is important that you remember that if you buy a "used" book, it is, in fact, used.  That means it may have markings, creases, folded over pages, occasionally a spill on the pages or cover, -- things that happen when one or more people read the book.  We NEVER knowingly sell a book that is missing pages or sections.  Be sure to read the description of the book in the listing - it might contain information that you need.

   Jerry recently retired from his full-time job, and this little e-Bay business is our way of supplementing our income.  Ebay and Half.com is a wonderful place for doing that. If you haven't tried it -- we suggest you do.  Whether you want a small business like ours, or a larger business, or just need to sell a few items you have taking up space in your garage, e-Bay is definitely the way to go.   We appreciate the venue called e-Bay, and follow the rules of the community as closely as we can.
