WHO WE ARE

Tommy Tunes Etc is one of many 'Mom and Pop' stores here on eBay, privately owned and run by just two people!  The name of the store comes from the 'man of the house', whose name happens to be Tom, hence the store name!  He's got to be the world's oldest hippie - he still reads Rolling Stone Magazine every week!  He is the one with all the knowlegde about music; what's HOT, what sells, popular artists, etc.  He also does all the buying and listing of store items.  If there's anything in particular you have been looking for, just drop us a note, and Mr Tunes will keep an eye out for it as he obtains our store inventory.  It couldn't hurt to ask!  ~~The female part of this store duo is named 'jewelry_jacq', not for what we sell but, rather what I LOVE to buy!  I am a true jewelry lover!   I have the job of keeping supplies on hand, printing the shipping labels, and helping out wherever I can.  Both of us have Full-time jobs, besides running this store.  That puts a 'lot on our plate', so to speak, and sometimes we DO get bogged down, have family emergencies, etc.  When that happens, we may slow down our production a bit, but, rest assured,

A LITTLE BIT OF OUR HISTORY

A little about how we started selling our 'tunes'.  Over 30 years ago, we started off buying and selling record albums - you know, those big, round, shiny black things!  Then, as cassettes became popular, we shifted our focus to them, though we still have quite a library of record albums, even today.  Finally, then, came the CDs.  For many years, we went to a local but well known Flea Market and sold our wares there on weekends, but there was a problem there with bootleg dealers, who gave even the legit sellers like ourselves a bad name.  That, and the fact that we got tired of getting up at 5 o'clock in the morning every Sunday!  That brings us to eBay - we've been selling here on eBay since 2004.
