Homes Arranged by Design's Collectibles and boutique November 2007 would have marked my 30th year in the work force.  Late September 2007 my then boss gave me the option to work more hours for the same rate of pay, or to take a 25% pay cut.  I won't tell you my response but you can bet I didn't take either option.  I choose to believe that life unfolds exactly the way it's supposed to and while I didn't see the opportunity that was being presented to me at that very moment it was evident to me before I tendered my resignation the next day.  I have started a couple of business ventures: I have a home staging business (please visit www.homesarrangedbydesign.com), an antique store in Havre de Grace and now an ebay store which started out as an extension of my antique store.  I have been collecting antiques for over 30 years.  My eye is always attracted to anything of beauty and particularly anything with a rose on it.  I personally collect Lenox figures and fairies at present.  In the past I have collected anything with a rose, tea pots, platters, trays, books, bird houses and tureens. After I opened the ebay store I realized it offers me the opportunity to market my antiques and collectibles but that I could also explore another of my passions; designer clothing and accessories.  I love to shop, always have, and I'm good at it.  I've always received many compliments on my attire and have always worn nice clothes but rarely pay retail.  I know when and where to shop and can spot a bargain from a mile away.  I will pass my savings on to you.  Visit my store, look at my prices and you will know that while I am in this to make a small profit, I'm not out to gouge anyone and I'm not a glutton; I pass the savings on to my ebay purchasers.
