All About Janine and Froggys


Janine got started selling on EBay in 2001 soon after moving from Holland, where she was born and raised, to California. The first item she sold was an antique school desk. She was hooked from that first sale. Her natural entrepreneurial spirit took over and never let go.

Soon she was going to garage sales, auctions and estate sales to find more items to sell. She opened her first EBay store, Little Papillion Shop but continued to be frustrated because she wanted more items to sell. The solution was to get her resale license so that she could buy through wholesalers.

Then she opened her first Internet Store DutchFroggy.  

DutchFroggy specializes in Home Décor. Among the beautiful items and gifts you will find at DutchFroggy is a HUGE selection of Stained Art Glass by Joan Baker Art Glass Designs. Joan Baker is one of the leading Stained Art Glass artists in the world.

DutchFroggy   also features the very unusual Raku Art Pottery by William Turner and one of the largest selections of Sandicast Animal Sculptures available. Sandicast, Inc. of San Diego California is THE premier manufacture of hand-cast animal sculptures. The company was founded by Sandra Brue who hand sculpted 65,358 individual hairs on her original Jack Russell Terrier

Janine then started her SECOND Internet Store, PetFroggys.  

PetFroggys features high quality dog beds and pet products by Snoozer, Bowser and other leading pet product companies. PetFroggys offers everything for your dog and cat except medicine and food.

Janine has an Airedale Terrier and a Lab/Shepherd mix who enthusiastically test all her pet products. She offers nothing in the store until it has received the highest award her dogs can offer, Four Paws Up.

But Janine’s EBay store (Little Papillion Shop), DutchFroggy and PetFroggy STILL wasn’t enough to satisfy her entrepreneurial spirit.

In addition, Janine now has EBay stores in Holland, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.

In 2007 Janine, her husband and the entire operation moved to Maine where they now live.
