How we got started.

Hi, and welcome to our About Me page! Since this is a family owned and operated business, maybe we should call it the ABOUT US page. lol As you will see from the pictures below we are a growing family with something new and exciting every day. We are a stay at home family to 5 Precious Rubies, running a family ebay business. What started out as an adventure in reselling my children's clothing grew and grew. When we first got married we vowed to stay home with our children, VS being two working parents. We knew God would honor that. Where there is a will there is a way. We have never been rich, but God did honor me staying home with our children. We have always made each bill and God has blessed us to be able to live comfortably, but most of all he has blessed us with peace and he has challenged us daily so that we might grow to be more stead fast in our faith and reliant on him. :-) We do not drive fancy cars nor take big vacations, but we are very happy and our needs are always met.

After I had our second daughter I did searches on eBay and found gymboree to be the highest selling childrens clothing. I first learned about gymboree on eBay by buying cute outfits. I figured out very quickly down the road that I could buy gymboree on sale, my children could wear it and I could later resale it for as much as I paid or more! So now we clothe 5 children in gymboree for free!

From there we bought as much gymboree clothing as we could afford at a time and have flipped it over and over until it has taken over our entire house. My husband built racks up the walls to the ceiling in every room excluding our bedrooms. Our home is now for sell! LOL!

This past July my husband and I prayerfully agreed it was time to give his two week notice because I could no longer reach bins to process orders as they were so high up the wall it was impossible. I was also 7 months pregnant! lol Since then we recently had our 5th baby, Chosen. I was no longer enough man power to process the orders day and night in the busy season. Now with my husband home it is still quite a challenge to get literally hundreds of orders out per week when it is busy. We are considering hiring some staff for the Spring/Summer 2009 clothing.

As an unforeseen blessing, this business has also granted us an awesome opportunity to teach our children first hand, the economics of business. We homeschool our children so this blessing is of great value to us. Any opportunity to expand our kids horizons reaps tremendous results in their well being.

Customer Service

Customer service is of utmost importance to us. We strive to answer questions as quickly as possible. At times ebay's system has glitches and I have had customers say they did not receive a reply. This is very distressing to know this. Should you not receive a reply from us within 24 hours at the very most, please feel free to contact us at LifeIsFullOfBlessings@Gmail.com we will answer immediately!

Can you please measure this for me?

This is one area that sadly we are just not able to fulfill for our customers. Our priority is to answer questions, process orders and to give personal customer service as efficiently as possible. I would love to be able to measure clothing for you because that would be part of customer service, but due to the massive amount of orders to get out daily this slows down order production and is just not possible. Just pulling one item to measure requires locating that item filed among hundreds of bins. Then refiling that item. We are so very careful to keep our clothes carefully filed and in pristine condition so that an item is not lost when an order is ready to go out. Taking clothes in and out of bins is not a good idea for this very reason. It is also extremely time consuming and not possible to provide this service, to thousands of customers as much as we would like to.

Shipping and Handling Fees...Don't ya love em'

I love to hate this subject and wish I could provide a very low shipping cost to my buyers. When I first started buying Gymboree in bulk to sell my goal was to make it affordable and I have been able to provide very low gymboree prices along with a huge selection where you can save allot of money by shopping in one place with a combine shipping rate of $1.99 for each additional item on most items and $2.99 for heavier items. As I started to say my greatest desire is to provide lower shipping, but that just is not possible with ebay fees now at 12%, pay-pal, shipping supplies, shipping postage has now gone up yet again, the cost to travel several states, gas money etc. And NO I am not charging you my fees, but there would be no point in selling gymboree if I gave it away and made no profit off of the actual clothes. I am working on this and we have in the works a website we have set up and just have to have enough time to organize to begin selling from there. Jesusfreesya what does it mean?

It means just that. Jesus frees you!

Ok so your in our store perusing our listings and you notice our store name "JesusFreesYa". Well that's different you think, I wonder what that's all about? Well Jesus Frees Ya is a phrase that's been living in our family for some time now. It's a realization that yes Jesus does free us, He frees us from the devils firey hold, Frees us from the sorrows of this world, Frees us from the burdens of our sins, Frees us of this life so that we may have Eternal life through Christ Jesus.

Ok I see what your getting at, but how does that fit for the name of your store, you say?

It's simple, how could we expect to be successful in a home based business with out putting God first. And what better way to acknowledge that without Him we would be lost, than to put his promise to us as our store name. When we were brainstorming for a cute name for a girly, Gymboree kid's store we felt God tugging at our hearts to name it something that would honor him. Many people would argue that you don't mix religion with business. We could potentially loose customers who do not believe in Jesus or who do not believe in God at all. But, we felt God's quiet inner voice say "would you be willing to loose customers if it meant you could win just one precious soul for my kingdom?" Yes Lord, yes we are willing!

What does Life Is Full Of Blessings mean?

It is a reminder that Life IS Full Of Blessings. We have been down some tough roads, but God is so faithful. You can choose to view life through the eyes of your suffering or you can choose to focus on the blessings God brings into your life daily. Remember to write your hurts in the sand and carve your blessings in stone. That is how I choose to view life. I pray that your life is full of blessings too.
