Meet Lucky Mrs. Ticklefeather

When I'm not known as LuckyMrs.Ticklefeather, I am known as Heather. I am a recent retiree from the position of assistant principal at a very rural Tennessee middle school, though for many years, I was a teacher of 4-year-olds. Ebay is my avid hobby. I got hooked when a teacher friend asked me to sell something for her, so I tried it out...VOILA..I loved it immediately. For my birthday that year, my friend gave me a big box full of stuff just to try selling on eBay, what a fun gift! My husband for 42 years, Terry, and I have an adopted autistic son who is a constant miracle and puzzlement!
Many of you have asked me about my user name. It is taken from the title of one of my favorite childhood books, Lucky Mrs. Ticklefeather, by Dorothy Kunhardt. I still cannot pass a "tall, tall, terribly tall building" without wondering if dear old Lucky Mrs. Ticklefeather is sunning herself on the top with her sunflower and her puffin Paul.

I am an eclectic person with an eclectic line. Some junque, some treasures, some old, some new, some mine, some for others. And I am always on the lookout for a great bargain, too! Of late, I have become interested in selling vintage jewelry. I have always loved old jewelry, but don't have the space to keep it. So I satisfy that love by acquiring pretty pieces and finding new homes for them. As you can see from my feedback, I want to please and try hard to keep my customers satisfied by offering nice items and providing exemplary service. So far, I have succeeded in that task!
