Hi! I'm Mitzi. Welcome to my boutique! Oh, by the way, my name is actually Karen Mitzi, so don't be confused if you receive emails signed "Karen" -- I am one in the same!
YOU are my business! This store is my career and without you, my customer, I wouldn't be here. Here's my picture -- this business will never be too big to take care of each customer as an individual.
SOURCE: All of my items are retail quality stock from top television shopping networks & major department stores.
CONDITION: My items are customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls, and vendor samples.
INSPECTION: I closely examine each product 2-3 times throughout the process for imperfections, damage or stains. I may not always pick up on every little detail, but do my best to be honest and detailed in my descriptions. If you receive an item which you believe was misrepresented in my listing, simply let me know and I will take care of it.
CLEANLINESS: Garments are shipped to me in individual plastic bags, packed tightly in large boxes and stored that way until they are shipped to you. Wrinkles are inherent to this method and certain fabrics are prone to picking up lint just from being transported next to other items. I do not launder or iron any brand new clothing*. I always recommend washing garments upon receipt, especially if you are concerned about allergies or other irritants. Even in a department store, you don't know who has tried on new garments or what type of perfume they wear, pets they own, etc.
SEEING IS BELIEVING: What you see is what you get -- no stock photos! They may not be perfect photos, but they are the real thing.
MEASUREMENTS: I hand-measure each item and encourage you to shop by measurement rather than size. I have purchased identical items for myself on the same day in the same size, and found a 1" varience! Find your best-fitting garments & jewelry, take the measurements and use them for comparison. Any questions on shopping from measurements? Just ask!
LOCATION / STORAGE: I do not drop ship. Everything comes to you directly from my clean, pet-free and smoke-free location. I personally inspect each item as I take careful measurements and write detailed descriptions. I know what you are getting because I have seen it myself during the listing process.

PAYMENT: In accordance with eBay policy, I accept PayPal and can be contacted regarding other forms of payment. Payment should be received within ten days of purchase. Automatic invoices and reminders will be sent to you during this time. An unpaid item dispute will be opened on the 11th day, even if you have contacted me that payment is on it's way. I will cancel the dispute once payment arrives. I will close a dispute resulting in an unpaid item strike if payment is not received and contact is not made. If you no longer want an item during the initial 10-day payment period, please contact me so that we can cancel the transaction mutually.
COMBINED SHIPPING: Combining multiple purchases saves you money! When you are through shopping, simply let me know and I will send you an invoice with all of the items and combined shipping based on actual postage cost. I charge actual shipping based on the weight of your package -- I do not add on handling fees or mark-ups to the USPS rates. Unfortunately, combined shipping savings can not be extended once an item has been paid for so be sure to wait until you are through shopping to proceed through checkout or make your payment.
SHIPPING: I ship items within 36-48 hours of when your payment clears; packages are shipped Monday through Saturday. Domestic items are shipped USPS Priority Mail. International items are shipped Priority Mail International. Flat Rate services available upon request.
SHIPPING TO APO/FPO ADDRESSES IS FREE!!!: It seems like so little and I wish I could do more personally, but I am honored to offer FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING to all APO/FPO addresses. (eBay will send an automatic invoice with shipping. Simply send me an email indicating your APO/FPO address, and I will send a revised invoice with FREE SHIPPING.)
INTERNATIONAL SALES: One of the greatest benefits of selling online is being able to serve the global community! I proudly ship worldwide. International items are shipped Priority Mail International. Flat Rate services available for qualifying purchases. International packages are shipped daily. International shipments are marked for return to me if the addressee can not located; be sure to provide accurate shipping information to avoid added costs.
DECLARED VALUE: I document the final selling price of your item without shipping on customs forms, no exceptions. Per eBay, "some countries will soon begin taking steps to address circumstances where declared value is understated, such as levying fines on the addressee." I will not mark items as "gift;" I am not sending you a gift.
DELIVERY: I purchase all domestic postage online which includes free Delivery Confirmation. You'll receive an email as soon as the postage is purchased so that you know it's been shipped.
MY FEEDBACK: I leave feedback for each customer as soon as the item ships -- I do not hold off on leaving feedback until you do the same for me. If you pay me for the item within ten days, you're going to get positive feedback from me.
YOUR FEEDBACK: Please consider the whole process when leaving feedback -- in addition to your pleasure with the purchase, how was my description, customer service, shipping time, value, etc.
MITZI'S CLEARANCE RACK: You asked for it, and I've made it happen! Everyone enjoys a bargain, a "real deal", and many of you are crafty or talented in the laundry department, so I have started listing some items which are damaged or stained. These items are clearly marked as being from Mitzi's Clearance Rack with detailed descriptions and photographs of the damage or stain. These items may be repairable and definately have potential. They are sold as is and returns are not accepted. Again, these items will be clearly marked as Mitzi's Clearance Rack - no surprises!
*Whenever any type of damage is discovered, I personally determine whether the item will still be listed. If an item has a missing button but includes a replacement button, or has very minor damage which will not take away from it's beauty or is easily repairable, the damage is outlined in detail in the description. I may not always know that a garment was returned from a home with pets or tried on by an individual wearing heavy perfume. Of course, I would never intentionally list an item with pet hair as I suffer from allergies myself. I assure you that these examples are the exception rather than the norm.
