We have been on Ebay since practically the beginning! We’ve seen it all and one thing remains the constant… we’re only as good as our last sale to you the customer! If we take our “eye off of the ball” that the customer is the focal point of Ebay then we lose… if we focus on the customer and the customer experience and provide a great value, we win!

History
MJR Sales was originally started in 1995 as a wholesale company. We bought large lots of Brand Name merchandise from Retailers and Manufacturers from around the world and sold to companies like TJ MAXX, Marshall's, Ross Stores, Burlington Coat Factory and the like.We also sell to small regional based retail stores, all the way down to the "mom and pop" shops.

We are located near Columbus, Ohio. Close to the offices of LIMITED BRANDS. Limited Brands owns that "World Famous Lingerie and Sportswear" catalogue that you all know so well. We have had a long running relationship with them and receive truckloads of merchandise each week! We receive it directly from them! No middle man or additional cost layers added.

Many years ago we discovered Ebay and we were convinced that one day we might sell a few pieces of clothing on the site! The rest is, as they say, history. In 2003 we were the “Ebay Entrepreneur of the Year”. They have never named one since then so we like to think we are the reigning champs!

About Our Products
Most of our product offered on Ebay comes from the “Worlds Most Famous Lingerie and Sportswear catalogue! So famous we can’t say the name, but you know who we are talking about. We buy truckloads per week directly from them. Based on that, we can offer you incredible deals on current or discontinued items. You save lots of money! You will find MJR Sales to be the best source of goods available on Ebay (or on our web site) for that “Worlds Most Famous Lingerie and Sportswear Catalogue”.

There are two basic grades of product: CUSTOMER RETURNS and FIRST QUALITY (NEW) goods. They are basically just as they sound. We indicate that a product is “New” or a “Customer Return” in the description section of our listing! Customer Returns may have a minor flaw or slight damage on them. They may have slight “pilling”, or a makeup stain, or some other minor issue. Typically, we will mention the flaw in our description but we may not catch all flaws. Occasionally the item may need laundering or very minor repair...the previous customer may have tried the item on. In many cases nothing is flawed with the product. If you buy a customer return via Auction from us we will not accept returns! (See more detail on our return policy)

Our products generally will not come with Price Tickets. Since it is typically an item from a catalog operation the items do not possess retail price tickets.

Authentic Products
All of our products are 100% authentic. We have bought directly from actual manufacturers and retailers for many years.

Categories and Label Treatment
The “WMFSLC” sells all kinds of products beyond Bras, Panties, or Lingerie Sleepwear that you do not see in their Mall Stores. (The Store and The Catalogue are actually completely separate divisions of the company!) The Catalogue also carries Shoes, Clothing, Outerwear and Accessories! The “Famous Label” that we can’t mention is used in the Bras, Panties, and Lingerie Sleepwear. On every piece of Bras, Panties, Lingerie or Sleepwear that famous label sends out of their distribution center, the Label is removed before it leaves. The Care Content and Size Label of pink satin is still in the garment.

In all of the other categories, Sportswear, Shoes and Accessories, the World’s Most Famous Lingerie and Sportswear Catalogue uses their own Private Labels (Moda, Colin Stuart) and they sell very famous other Brands like Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Penny Loves Kenny, and ABS, only to name a few. These labels remain intact except that they may be marked or snipped. The catalogue does this to stop the return of the items sold at discount.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
A brief history of online shipping and handling

Shipping is a very complex component of trying to execute a successful online/internet business. Years ago when we started this business, none of the well known carriers were interested in delivering a single small package to a residential address. There was no money in it they told us. It wasn't worth their trouble. In fact they always charged us an additional "residential delivery" up-charge. Even more charges if you happened to live "way out" in the country, or western sates. The US Postal service became the default method. Not necessarily the best way, but manageable. They generally offered no delivery confirmation or tracking. Then in the recent year, the USPS raised their rates effectively twice, the last time encompassing dimensional weights. They basically priced themselves out of the shipping market ...unless you really want to pass the cost onto the final buyer.

MJR Sales has forever been a company that has strived to keep shipping costs down for our customers. We have held out for a long time and have not raised any rates as dramatically as other Ebay'ers. Many of our competitors have substantially raised prices for shipping. Being as efficient as possible in our shipping and handling has always been a focus point and a point of pride for us. The less costs we incur then allows us to control the shipping cost we need to pass on to customers. We are constantly searching for the next best shipping carrier deal that controls cost but delivers assured service with the most visibility to our customers. Of course our customers have many needs. Domestically, east coast vs. west coast transit times. Domestic to Alaska and Hawaii present separate challenges. APO and FPO are in a league of their own. Many of us at MJR Sales have loved ones in the Military. It is personally very important for us to get packages to those offering service to any of our military branches.

International customers are equally important. We have shipped to many countries. Transit times are difficult to predict or control. Duties and freight considerations to Poland are vastly different than Australia. International or Domestic, no matter where you are in the world the need is the same after you buy from any company online; did my package ship, where is it now, and when will it get to me?

At MJR Sales we use the Golden Rule, if it where us that was waiting on the package, how fast would we want it to go out of our warehouse and how quickly and accurately it will arrive to us?! We operate on that principal. We try to do the very best we can.

Out of our warehouse:
We normally say 2-4 days from the time we receive payment for your order to leave our warehouse. That is our “buffer” but the truth is we typically ship out everything the day after you pay! Of course, like any other business, weekends or Holidays may affect that time, but not by much. We get really nervous if our shipping begins to back up for even one day!

DOMESTIC 48 STATES

(See the note below about Fed Ex SMART POST) – We are located near Columbus, Ohio so we are in the center of the USA for shipping efficiency. If you are east of us you will have a3-7 day transit time, probably on the fast side of that. If you are West coast that could be 4-6 days. If you are lucky enough to live in a really remote western area… it may be on the high side of that estimate. If you are a returning loyal customer and the default method of shipping is not fast enough we will work with you to switch delivery channels. Fed Ex SMART POST
After a very long search we believe we have found the best alternative to shipping to the continental 48 states. Fed Ex SMART POST combines all of the best practices of Fed Ex and the solid daily efficiency of the US POSTAL SERVICE. Fed Ex works closely with the POSTAL SERVICE to consolidate packages and delivers a bulk group to the nearest POST OFFICE to you. The postal carrier then takes it “the last mile” to your house. We are fortunate enough to be near Columbus, Ohio which features one of the largest and fastest sorting hubs in the Fed Ex network.

We are the first company in the country to have installed the particular system that we have and Fed Ex has been most helpful. They are very interested in seeing how this system works for us and our customers. Fed Ex has been most helpful in immediately solving any issues we raise with transit times, etc. Your package has the entire attention of Fed Ex keeping a close and watchful eye on it to make sure it gets to your destination.

PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Here at MJR Sales we love to bring the lowest prices on Famous Fashions and all the designers you love. Rather than employing an army of people to intensively inspect every single piece and having to raise our prices, we put together a general product disclaimer so you can understand the nature of our products and we can focus on getting you the best deals.
Due to the nature of our items many of them will have minor imperfections such as the following.

  • Deodorant marks
  • Makeup marks
  • Faint marks, wrinkles, snags from storage and previous handling
  • Minor separation of seams
  • Shoes , Purses may have an “X” marking (on the bottom or inside, preventing returns of the items)
  • Clipped / marked labels ( preventing returns of the items)
  • Some embellishments/sequins may become loose or fall off during shipping and handling.
  • Faint pen marks
  • Scuff marks on bottom of shoes.
  • Indentations on bras
  • May be missing belts or straps

We find that many of these imperfections can be easily fixed. Any major flaws not listed above will be stated in the description of the item.

Items marked as “NWT” (new with tags) or “NWOT” (new without tags) should be free of flaws. Should any flaws be found it will be described thoroughly in the description.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR THE RIGHT SIZE
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of bust under arms with arms relaxed down at sides.
Chest: Measure around chest just under arms across shoulder blades with arms relaxed down at sides.
Coat/Dress Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down.
Height: Measure from top of head down standing barefoot on a hard flat surface with normal posture.
Hips: Measure around fullest part of body at the top of legs with feet together.
Inseam: Measure from inside crotch seam to the hem of pants that fit you well.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline which appears as crease when bending to one side.
Neck: Measure around fullest part of neck.
Rise: Measure from the crotch to top of waistband.
Skirt Length: Measure from the waist down. Skirts are measured from center front. Skirts with waistbands are measured from seams down. Skirts without waistbands are measured from top down.
Sleeve: Measure from center back of neck, over point of shoulder, and down outside of arm past elbow to wrist with arm relaxed at side.

RETURN POLICIES

Customer Return Items:
If you buy a CUSTOMER RETURN item from us on an Ebay auction or buy it now feature, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please be advised that in the Description section of every one of our listings we indicate the status of every item with the words “New” (First Quality) or “Customer Return” See the section of “About Our Products” for further definition of a Customer Return. This section will also define the concept of a catalog return and the types of minor flaws you may see on the item!

First Quality or New Items:
If you buy an item from us that is “New “ or " First Quality" and it was a “Buy It Now” or Fixed Price purchase then you may return the item if it arrives damaged. You must return the item with 7 days of your receipt of it. It cannot show signs of being worn or washed. First quality returns are eligible for fit return.

The item may be returned for full credit on your next purchase. We will give you a very specific code to use on that next purchase. The Code will be valid for up to 90 days from the day we issue it to you. You must use it before the 90 day expiration.

Reasons for Returns:

Completely Wrong Item:
If we send you the completely wrong item we will allow an exchange for the correct one, or a credit against future purchases. We will pay for return shipping on these types of mistakes.

Other Reasons
If the item doesn't’t fit or you decide later that you do not want it, sorry but we cannot except these returns. We sell items that are very widely known and their fits are very consistent. As the customer you will need to be responsible for knowing the product and the fit.

Return Authorization:
IN ALL CASES, no matter what the reason, you must contact us in advance for RETURN AUTHORIZATION. Please see the Contact us information for complete details. There you will see the appropriate Emails, Phone Numbers, and Address to return.

Shipping Costs for Returns
Any time we make a mistake that warrants a return we will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. The required return method will be discussed on a case by case basis during the Return Authorization process.

Refund Payments:
We are not able to refund money through Paypal. We will only be able to send a check. Typically this could take 1-2 weeks to reach you. We are sorry for this delay but there is a process that we need to follow in the matter of refunds.

On every piece of Bras, Panties, or Sleepwear Lingerie that famous label sends out of their distribution center, the Label is removed before it leaves. The Care Content and Size Label of pink satin remains in the garment.

In all of the other categories, Sportswear, Shoes and Accessories, the World’s Most Famous Lingerie and Sportswear Catalogue uses their own Private Labels (Moda, Colin Stuart) and they sell very famous other Brands like Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Penny Loves Kenny, and ABS, only to name a few. These labels remain intact except that they may be marked or snipped. The catalogue does this to stop the return of the items sold as discount.

Can I combine shipping on multiple items, and how long can I wait?
We gladly provide a Combined Shipping Option. See the chart above for the discounts on multiple items. You can wait up to seven (7) days for an auction to close in order to combine shipping.

Customer must leave items unpaid to combine.

You cannot close an auction then wait six days for another auction to close but just before the sixth day, bid on yet another item and wait another seven days!

After I pay how long before my package ships?
We normally say 2-4 days from the time we receive payment for your order to leave our warehouse. That is our “buffer” but the truth is we typically ship out everything the day after you pay! Of course, like any other business, weekends or Holidays may affect that time, but not by much. We get really nervous if our shipping begins to back up for even one day!

Can I track my shipment?
Any and every time you buy from us you should receive and email that indicates we have shipped and gives you a tracking number to follow your package. You should be prompted to go to the Fed Ex tracking site, or the USPS tracking site.

What are expected shipping transit times for DOMESTIC (Continental 48 States)?
DOMESTIC 48 STATES (See the note below about Fed Ex SMART POST) – We are located near Columbus, Ohio so we are in the center of the USA for shipping efficiency. If you are east of us you will have a 3-7 day transit time, probably on the fast side of that. If you are West coast that could be 4-8 days. If you are lucky enough to live in a really remote western area… it may be on the high side of that estimate. If you are a returning loyal customer and the default method of shipping is not fast enough we will work with you to switch delivery channels. Please let us know if you experience any continuous problem with shipping times.

What exactly is Fed Ex SMART POST and how is it good for me as a customer?
After a very long search we believe we have found the best alternative to shipping to the continental 48 states. Fed Ex SMART POST combines all of the best practices of Fed Ex and the solid daily efficiency of the US POSTAL SERVICE. Fed Ex works closely with the POSTAL SERVICE to consolidate packages and delivers a bulk group to the nearest POST OFFICE to you. The postal carrier then takes it “the last mile” to your house. We are fortunate enough to be near Columbus, Ohio which features one of the largest and fastest sorting hubs in the Fed Ex network.

We are the first company in the country to have installed the particular system that we have and Fed Ex has been most helpful. They are very interested in seeing how this system works for us and our customers. Fed Ex has been most helpful in immediately solving any issues we raise with transit times, etc. Your package has the entire watchful eye of Fed Ex keeping a close watch on it to make sure it gets to your destination.

RETURN POLICY FAQ’s

Can I return a “Customer Return” item?
If you buy a CUSTOMER RETURN item from us on an EBay auction or buy it now feature, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please be advised that in the Description section of every one of our listings we indicate the status of every item with the words “New” (First Quality) or “Customer Return” See the section of “About Our Products” for further definition of a Customer Return. This section will also define the concept of a catalog return and the types of minor flaws you may see on the item!

Can I return a “First Quality - New” item?
If you buy an item from us that is “New “ or First Quality and it was a “Buy It Now” or Fixed Price purchase then you may return the item. You must return the item with 7 days of your receipt of it. It cannot show signs of being worn or washed. First quality returns are eligible for fit return.

The item may be returned for full credit on your next purchase. We will give you a very specific code to use on that next purchase. The Code will be valid for up to 90 days from the day we issue it to you. You must use it before the 90 day expiration.

What are acceptable reasons for returns?

If the item doesn't fit or you decide later that you do not want it, sorry but we cannot except any returns. We sale items that are very widely known and their fits are very consistent. As the customer you will need to be responsible for knowing the product and the fit.

Do I need a “Return Authorization” to return any item?

Who pays shipping cost for any return?
Any time we make a mistake that warrants a return we will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. The required return method will be discussed on a case by case basis during the Return Authorization process.

I won your auction! Now what?
After you win an auction or a Buy It Now, you will receive an email directly from MJR Sales that will prompt you for payment. PLEASE CLICK THE “Pay Now” button or link within the email to complete the transaction.
You may also receive an email directly from EBAY that prompts you to do the same thing. W e prefer that you use our email. This will assure that we collect all payment and shipping data in a more timely manner. If you use the Ebay email we will still receive the information but it could delay the shipping process.

How long do I have to Pay?
You have seven (7) days to pay for your order from the time that it closes. You may wait during this time for additional auctions to close within that seven day period in order to qualify for combined shipping. If we do not receive payment after a short grace period, then we will open a “non paying bidder” dispute through EBay.
