Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! This is the MrsDaffodyl Page- The Place to learn about me and my auctions. ABOUT MY CANDLES All my candles are made right here in my Pennsylvania kitchen (unless specifically stated otherwise). I have a short attention span and for that reason I make LOTS of different candle projects to keep me from getting bored. I LOVE finding new projects and being creative. Some days I spend rolling sheet after sheet of pure, colored beeswax into all sorts of elegant candles. Beeswax burns longer and cleaner than paraffin, and just gives an original twist in such a diverse craft. I like to keep it simple with these, using 100% cotton wicking for a nice clean burn. ABOUT AROMAGELS I am proud to announce my new line of AROMAGELS candles. Actually, it is just really cool to be able to say I have my own "line" of anything!! I use the heaviest, thickest Penreco Versagel HP for these. It has the longest burn and holds the most scent of all the varieties of gel. Some are in interesting containers, others have glitter, polished stones, or other embellishments for a beautiful as well as relaxing (invigorating, romantic, etc.) candle. ABOUT SPECIALTY GEL CANDLES For me, there are few things more fun than shopping for containers to put gel into! Gel candles glow in a way that wax never could, and because it is clear and odorless (to start out) the possibilities are endless! I have made underwater scenes, and every kind of drink imaginable- from Coke to champagne to black coffee- and everything in between. MY NEW WEB SITE!
