Buttons, Buttons and More Buttons As a child, one of my favorite things to do on rainy days was to take Grandma's button box, sit under the dining room table (this way I was out of everybody's way) and sort and play with her button collection. To me - it was fun and peaceful - and a chance to look at a lot of pretty buttons. When I first started looking at eBay, I was looking for buttons and found the "world of novelty buttons". When one of my favorite seller's decided to stop selling buttons - she was moving to Florida - I contacted her and she gave me a lot of helpful hints, as well as selling the remainder of her stock to me. Now one room in our house is the computer/button/shipping room. I have learned so much from different customers. Now, I also am a collector and collect antique and vintage buttons. This is one way to collect antiques and not need an extra house just so you have a place to display those beautiful works of yesterday. Both my husband and son are my working partners. My husband and I have limited mobility, so we do everything but going to the post office. That is the job of our son. We make a good team and have a lot of fun looking for new buttons for our loyal customers, as well as the new customers we meet on eBay. Oh, yes, we have two dogs - they let us know when UPS or the Post Office is coming with another delivery of buttons. You see, everyone under this roof is involved in the buttons - one way or another.
