Some of my past work

I was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in the desert southwest of western Texas, New Mexico and Arizona where there is a rich and diverse art culture. I have been drawing and painting since I have been able to hold a pencil and entered art competitions as early as elementary school. I have won many awards through the years and am a published artist. I have never exhibited in galleries but have shown in numerous shows and art competitions across the United States. My formal training includes commercial art, pottery and an associates degree in drafting and design. I have taught art classes privately and at the local community college. I have worked as a leathercrafter, silk screener, sign painter, graphics designer and CAD drafter. As you can see my artistic experiences have been rather diverse and include murals, portraits, digital graphics, sculpture, pottery, stained glass and mosaics to name a few. I have even painted nose art on B-52s and KC-135s while I served almost 9 years in the Air Force.
My mediums of choice are pastel, colored pencils, acrylics and the computer, but I like to balance them with mediums that are more functional like mosaics, stained glass and pottery. My style is generally realism but have been known to dabble with abstract color and design. I started out on eBay creating and selling ACEO/ATC art trading cards.
I have now developed my own line of rubber stamps and rubber stamp selling takes most of my time. I have not done any trading cards lately. I am focusing my creative energies towards designing my own art stamps for my store 2nd Nature Arts. I am hoping that ACEO/ATC artist and all other stampers will find them useful in their trading cards, artwork and creations. 2nd Nature Arts is an angel company and you are welcome to sell your hand stamped crafts. If you give 2nd Nature Arts credit for the stamps I would be grateful. 2nd Nature Art Stamps are sold exclusively on eBay.
All my work is inspired by animals and nature regardless of what medium or style I am using. Since I am unable to work, eBay has been a real lifesaver allowing me to make a living at home. I now live in rural northwestern Alabama but am in the process of moving back to New Mexico.
In my dealings on eBay I strive to be honest, fair and deliver exactly what you pay for when you bid on my auctions whether it is artwork, rubber stamps or anything else I may sell. If I make a mistake on something (and I have and likely will in the future :-) ) I do my best to correct the problem to the customers advantage. If your item is lost in shipping or damaged in transit, I will either give a refund or resend the item when possible.
Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me! Take care and happy bidding!!
