'the naked bee' began as
a beekeeping hobby for our family (now-a-days, an expensive one!)
My husband, Chet, learned the art of beekeeping from his father
years ago, taught me everything I know about beekeeping, and we
are delighted that our daughters have such an interest as well.
We find it our mission to keep reminding others of the importance
of the honeybee from crop pollination to the medicinal qualities
of the products created in the honeybee hive...as we approach extinction
of the wild honeybee hive due to various diseases and mites, it
is VITAL that the art of beekeeping be taught and practiced as our
farmers and economy depend so heavily upon this life source.
Over the past 4+ years in order to support our beekeeping hobby,
we have been researching and developing various all-natural formulations
which include our raw honey, beeswax, pollen and propolis. The benefits
of these natural resources are too massive to ignore.
Last year, we introduced a full line of all-natural bath and body
products, beautiful gift sets along with our ever popular raw honey
and beeswax candles, which we make in small batches, package and
label ourselves. We take great pride in this process, from harvesting
our bee's honey to displaying the finished products on our shelves
(and yours!)... and we use all of our products ourselves. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
