Our Standard of Grading, for World Paper Currency

Grading Paper Money:
Uncirculated: A note that has never been folded...
Extra Fine: A note with up to three light folds, or one strong crease...
Very Fine: A note with several folds both vertically & horizontally, but no nips, tears or holes...
Fine: A note that show considerable circulation with many, folds, creases, & wrinkling.Many have minor tears or nips on the border. But they do not extend into the design.A pin hole or two would be acceptable...
Very Good: A well used note. Abused but still intact.
Good: No large pieces missing.But a rag never the less.
Poor: Everything worse than Good......
One exception to Holes is as follows: When counting notes holes are made with the counting tool.(Sharp Pointed Stick or similar)I also consider staple holes made during the counting & bundling of notes the same way . These will be declared in the description...We do not feel that the Grade is lower just because of the counting,or stapling during bundling holes. An un-circulated note with a counting hole or counting crease is still un-circulated. An extra fine note with a counting hole is still extra fine.One other exception also exists. In some Asian countries notes were sewn together in bundles. Un-Circulated is still Un-circulated.IF THERE ARE NO FOLDS (Vertical or Horizontal) it is UNCIRCULATED BY OUR STANDARD.I am by no means an expert grader. But these are the standards we Buy From and Sell at.
