I will never mislead you into thinking any retro or modern items are actually vintage.
I do my research & I know the Real Thing when I see it.
I will Never sell you a reproduction as a true vintage garment!
I describe everything, including any problems, regardless of how minor.
I use the following Condition Rating Chart for all items - Both Vintage & Contemporary.
I have found this chart to be the most accurate in describing condition of almost anything.

Vintage sizes differ greatly from modern sizes.
The following are samples of what to look for in our titles.
Women's Garments
Bust: B34.
That means the Bust of the garment measures 34" - Not that it will fit a 34" Bust.
Skirts - Waist size: W26.
Men's Garments
Men's Shirts - neck & sleeve size: 16/34.
Men's Jackets, vests, & tee shirts: S to XXL.
All Jeans & Pants - waist & inseam length: 34X32.
Women's & Juniors will also state the actual size.
You should always allow an inch or two so you can breathe in the garment.
Further measurements will be found in the description of the listings.How I Measure
Garments are laid flat & measured from side seam to side seam.
These are doubled to give the actual circumference.
Inseams are measured from the center crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.

If not the inner measurement, it will be noted.
Width: The widest part.
Across the "ball" of the foot
on the sole of the shoe.
Heel Height: Outer Rear. From the floor to where the heel
actually meets the bottom part of the shoe.
Boot Shaft: Top of Boot - center
to where it meets the detail at the top of the foot.Encourage when we can...

I was born to a Vaudeville Dad & a Tailor Mom, so I like to think my eye for Detail, Construction, Quality, & Uniqueness is Inherent. Oh, and I have my Dad's Quirky sense of humour, too!
 Please Note: Ours is not a smoke-free home.
Once I receive an item for resale, I launder or air it out, depending on the fabric / materials used.
They are then immediately wrapped in clean tissue that's stored in an airtight bin, then in a clear plastic bag from that same bin.
The bin lives on the service porch, where there is plenty of air & no smoke odors. Once these are all wrapped up, they go on a shelf - also on the service porch.
