Shipments:

Shipments are made 2 – 3 times a week. PRIORITY SHIPPINGS refers to the time the package is taken to the post office and the time it arrives at your door.  It does not mean I place your purchase above someone else nor does it mean I will make a special trip to the post office just for you.  Please plan your purchase to ensure delivery of your package in enough time for the package to arrive before your event.  

1st Class shipping consists of 1 piece of cardboard, a clear plastic evelope and marked DO NOT BEND. This is the least expensive way to ship paper.  Damage occurs more frequently with approximately 1 out of 100 being damaged.  Some people do not want to spend $5.50 for shipping an item that costs $1.50.  That's understandable, but the risk is YOURS!  If you want a 2nd piece of cardboard, please let me know and I'll add 80 cents to your invoice.  The extra piece of cardboard weighs more than 1 ounce and increases the cost of postage.

PRIORITY shipping consists of all articles placed in a plastic envelope and placed inside a Priority box kept flat.  The non sticky ends are cut off and the sticky ends are attached.  Extra tape is used to secure the ends.  The box is marked Do Not Bend.  This method of shipping offers the next best protection for 12x12 paper.  The package above represents the ONLY package in 5 years of shipping 12x12 paper that has ever been damaged when shipped this way.  Nothing is 100% guaranteed and the post office can and will destroy anything.   INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE but only covers LOSS.  Post Office requires articles be surrounded by 2" of protection on all sides before they will pay damage claims.  That means a single sheet of paper would have to be shipped in a 16"x16"x4" box and that makes NO sense! 

INTERNATIONAL shipping consists of 2 pieces of cardboard with items inbetween.  This is placed in a clear plastic envelope which is placed in a white envelope.  This is the least expensive way to ship paper internationally but damage can still occur.  The next best way is to place items in a box with styrofoam peanuts.  Shipping in a box with styrofoam peanuts is $7.50 above regular shipping method.  If you purchase is large enough to require a box anyway, the $7.50 charge is not added to your invoice.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU WANT SHIPMENTS!

Postal administrations in several international countries have contacted the United States Postal Service about the declaration of value placed on customs forms. They have noted that in many cases, the declared value is understated when compared to the actual invoice or known value of the item, especially for sales conducted over the internet. While this applies to sellers both on and off eBay, the USPS has asked us to remind our sellers to declare the proper value on all customs forms.

The correct value of each item is required on customs forms as it helps determine the proper duties and taxes, and whether they should be applied. Some countries will soon begin taking steps to address this issue, such as levying fines on the addressee when the declared value is determined to be lower than the invoice.

International Customers:  Shipping quote is for a US address ONLY!  Please wait for a shipping quote from me.   If a PayPal payment is made using the shipping price for a US address and a refund has to be done, an additional $1.00 will be added to the new invoice because of the extra work involved.
